congrats for your first baby! well i used to be very sensitive at that time,i don't like to smell perfume or even shampoo!i eat a lot and trust me..i gained weight 10 kilos even after i gave birth. you have to be careful on doings things such as household chores...don't push yourself on lifting anything, when i was at my 1st trimester, i bleed twice and found out i get miscarriage because of stress and fatigue, but thankfully it didn't and blessed me with such a beautiful baby!

I have had two babies and in both of my pregnancies in the first trimester I was very very tired. I was also very excited, kinda scared, but happy happy happy! I was also really emotional, especially with my 2nd child. Just about everything sad made me cry, that is what made me think I might be pregnant actually because I wasn't acting like myself!

P.S. Congratulations! Duh ... I forgot to say that! Also taking pre-natal vitamins as soon as you can is really super important!

Yep, the mood swings will come and go but unfortunately that lasts throughout the whole pregnancy usually!

I found out about my pregnancies at 4 to 5 weeks pregnancy. I felt the need to visit the restroom often. My bra area ached and I had a taste in my mouth which was rather like metal. I felt tired and was exhausted if I did too much. From 6 weeks until 12 weeks pregnancy I suffered evening sickness. At 12 weeks I was excited to have a first scan and see my baby. Then by 14 weeks pregnancy I felt well and happy. I looked forward to meeting my baby. I managed to travel to South Africa in my second trimester because I felt totally well. I went there are 17 to 19 weeks pregnancy. I have a baby daughter that is now 14 months old, a toddler son that is 3 years old and a teenage son that is 15 years old. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. I have had three home births.

Here is a quick run down of what happens, you awake with the utter feeling of nausea, headaches, sluggish and back pains. Then comes the feeling of feeling fat. After all that is said and done you then feel pretty, excited and bonding with the baby. Kidding some feelings are really different for so many but the feeling of a bit of confusion is quite the same for all as you will be beginning a whole new life. Congrats!
