is playing poker game fun??? why?? how??

I'm not sure what zynga is, although I can tell you this...if you are just learning the game, you will learn very little from just playing, especially playing for 'play money.' EVERYONE that plays in such a manner is doing so for entertainment purposes ONLY; therefore, the moves/plays that are made are done so with very little knowledge of what's going on, or any expectations as the hand continues to play. If you truly want to learn a few suggestions I can make is to join a poker forum and visit it often. Badbeatspoker.net is a very good forum. I've learned lots from it. There are also websites that don't cost but ten-twenty bucks a month (such as pokerpwnage.com) that have tutorial videos, and you can watch bonafide pro's play poker tournaments, while they explain the reasoning for their moves. The book, 'Daniel Negraneu's Power Hold 'em Strategy' is regarded by most to be the best instructional poker book ever written. Might not be a bad idea to pick that up. You can also join fulltilt poker or pokerstars and sit at a table WITHOUT playing and watch those that know what they're doing, and learn that way. Personally, I think no limit texas hold 'em is the BEST game on the planet. And I love playing games (video, board, skill, etc.). Poker has every component of every game, luck, skill, mind games, trash talking, numbers/statistics/probabilities. Everything you could want in a game...poker has it. I wish I had started playing at an earlier age to be honest.
