What does healthy taste like?

Who determines what healthy foods are? I think it's funny when health conscious people buy the packaged food labeled healthy. I know dietitians do but it is not one size fits all thing when it comes to a healthy diet.

true.... for me my idea of eating healthily is eating fresh foods... and home cooked foods. because only if i cooked it i can be totally sure of the ingredients.... and as much as possible i stay away from artificial seasonings.....

You're talking about things like MSG, preservatives and flavoring, right?

No, i consider salt all natural....i'm not sure if you've heard of this, it's widely available here in asia... "Maggi Seasoning", "Knorr All-in-One spices", etc....

I don't think that any packaged or prepared foods are particularly healthy. To me, healthy means food that comes direct from nature that doesn't require a lot of processing from field to the table. Healthy can be fruits. Healthy can be veggies. Healthy can be dairy that is reduced in fat and healthy is also lean protein. People buy too much of things that are labeled fat free for instance but don't check the labels to see that the fat has been replaced by sugar.

It's hard to find foods from nature anymore unless you live in tropical places or somewhere nature is abundant and grows naturally. I, for some reason can't consider anything grown in farms as natural, organic doesn't count.
