I hate to be alone. I know, how can I ever be alone with six children, trust me I am. I love my kids dearly and glad they have plenty to keep them busy.
I have a friend who loves to be alone. He likes being in his own little world. I don't know how or why, he does it. I don't like to sleep by myself either. I'm starting to think I may have some problems. I don't like to eat out by myself either. The only reason why I can now stand to be at McDonalds by myelf is because I'm using their wi-fi. I should probably get a handle on this but I don't know how. Of course this could explain why I have such a rough time with relationship break-ups.
I'm going through somethings this week I tell ya, and my mylot friend is M.I.A.
Hopefuly he sees this soon. He always know just what to say to get me through my dilehmas.

Hello dear. Being alone sometimes is all we need for us to understand our self further. Know what we want and reflect to our selves. I think your are dependent to others, your happiness depends on people surrounding you and that's not healthy. You should also learn to see things without them, appreciate all either good or bad. Feeling lonely is a choice and you also have a choice to be happy.
Back to your question may answer is yes and no. Yes, because i want to clear my mind from negative thoughts, i want to relax my muscles from a busy environment. No, because being alone sometimes depressed me. Feeling unwanted, lonesome and hating my self for no reasons.

Thank you for responding. I hear everything you are saying. However, I have yet to find anything good that comes out of me being alone for too long. I'm everso often reminded that I don't have a mate when I'm alone. Also, no matter how hard I try, not good, positive, or constructive comes out of my being alone.
But I guess better to keep working on fixing this than to be on medication.

Sometimes, i want to be alone. But if its only when I feel too exhausted. I locked myself in my room and dont want to be disturb. But if not, i really enjoy the company of family and friends. I like to hang out with them. Go out of town and relax. Let just respect people who have their own world. Maybe they found peace and enjoyment being alone.

I like going out of town. I treat myself to a little weekend getaway every birthday. Somewhere secluded, in a little cabin, with a hot tub outside, and a glass of whine in hand. Nothing like being in the hot tub outside in March(in Ohio. Talk about relaxing.

I am sorry you are feeling lonely dramaqn, I hope your friend returns soon. I have one child at home now and because I am trying to work on my story, I prefer to be alone. Though what I do hate is eating alone, that is one time I believe family should be together to talk about their day, etc..But I am fortunate if I get that once a week..:(

I love to be alone but only at certain times. It is only when I feel depressed or when I am feeling sad about something. This is the time when I feel that I need my own little world to cope back to own self.

Oh yes, you and I are definitely on the same page. When in those moods you need that little bit of alone time to get back to who you are. It's not a time to sulk, but a time to get your ducks back in a row and process the thoughts in your mind without interrruption.
Thank you for responding and sharing your experience and feelings on being alone.

I love to be alone.. I spend most of my time alone. I work third shift... Alone.
I go home and although I have 4 dogs and about a dozen or so cats and 2 roommates.. I don't have to interact with my roommates much.. I prefer the time I spend alone.
I would say on an average week.. I spend about 75%-80% of my time alone. I interact with people briefly (beginning and ending of my shift) my roommates for a few minutes here and here during the day.
I talk to people on the phone at all hours... but I don't have to deal with people much in person. And I really do like it that way- mostly.
I much prefer the company of my animals to that of most people.

I am not the kind of person that would like to be alone. Being without anyone would be too lonely of an existence, We all have moments that we want to ourselves. Sometimews we just need a break from our daily routines to reflect on what is important to us. Still, i wouldn't see thay as a reason to want to be alone.

As the sayibng goes no man is an island so for me it is a natural feeling as a human being to be with somebody and we all need that. But in your case, you seems to be afraid just by the idea of being alone. I think, there must be some problem which you still don't know how and why it came to tha point. I wish you will be able to fight the feeling. Because we sometimes needs to be alone. You may start by looking back what brought you into this and little by little you will understand why and by that time it will be clear to you, you will find the right thing to do to finally make it alone. I wish you all the best. God bless you!

I'm single right now and I can't say that I really like that. Like everything in life it has it;s advantages and disadvantages.there are certain moments when you feel the need to have someone next to you : for example when you have a health problem...of course there are friends to support and you have family also...but you feel the need to have someone a little bit closer than that.in conclusion...I kinda hate being alone

I guess no one is like to be alone, i'm also didn't like to be alone, i feel lonely if i'm doing everything alone, that's why we as socialize people, really need somebody to accompany us, and i think our reason to live is to live for other person

I do, most of the time like to be alone when watching tv,eating at home and sleeping. I hate noise people kept talking about trivia on tv and asking me questions.

There are times when I like my own company and other times when I feel I will enjoy the company of others.
But generally - I'm quite good with being alone as I have a lot of things to pre-occupy myself with.

I hate to be alone too,but the reality makes me alone and i have been familiar to it.Eating alone, walking alone,i have benn on the brink of breaking down.My girlfriend immediately hang up after i just said one sentence.I really hope she could have extended regards to me,even one word. And i phoned my dad,we just have one topic:my living expenses.I feel so lonely.
