Which version do you use?Is it a beta version,if you use a beta version you'd better uninstall it and install a older version instead.Beta version is not stable.I use opera instead of firefox, because my net speed is very slow, opera is a litter faster than other browser.

It is primarily due to the way the browser is designed. It seems that it does not handle memory well compared to browsers like Opera. Add to this the unstability or not well designed add-ons, and we have a condition ripe for crashes. This is before taking the software configuration installed on a PC, where they vie for the same memory range.
Among the solutions would be avoid using add-ons. This is not a guarantee because even without add-ons I have experienced many crashes.
Maybe you should revert back to an earlier version, or use a different browser. From experience I do know that Opera is more stable, even with thirty tabs each on three windows.

Mozilla Firefox was my favorite browser a while ago. But, lately I had problems of crashing down and slow loading, with Firefox. Now, I switched to Opera. (Though some scripts don't work with Opera, it's better now.)
Mozilla crashes down, mostly when the web page contains Flash objects. That was my experience.

I have opened multiple tabs in mozilla and never had the problem of crashing..
It might be some problem in the site u are viewing..Try some other sites and open multiple tabs with them and see .
If still Mozilla crashes, it's better u uninstall Mozilla and re install a fresh copy..

Me too experience sudden crashing of Mozilla when on multiple tabs. And this problem is due to bugs present in their current version.
So, my advice is to switch to other web-browser until Mozilla Firefox 4 final gets released. Its currently in its beta stage. Might be available within 2-3 months.
[b]Or, you can switch to some older version of Mozilla Firefox and after installing, turn off its Automatic Updates.

Earlier, i was on latest build but after these crashes and some site problems appears to me, i switched back to older version until Firefox 4 is available.
Have a great day..
