Me and my family was on a brink of disaster right now, I myself was on really very down as I'm writing at this moment. I'm really very frustrated on my life. I tried so hard to earn money but it was really not enough to earn money. We just got eviction noticed last Sept 1, 2010 and and given 30 days to move out of this place, this place were my two kids grew for 10 years we been here. Due to recession I was layoff last year and finished my EI or run out of it but got a low paying job which really doesn't afford to pay bills such as rent and credit cards. I was praying that that when we move out this house with a place we found we can change our life or bring us some good future on this another house that we are gonna live. I was so totally devastated and loose hope but my family specially my two young kids 7 and 11 yrs old gave some strength to fight this big blowed in my family. So dear God help me to overcome this fear , I know I lot of you will read this post I'm very embarassed to post this but I'm getting some kinda afraid that to overcome this feeling. Please advise me to fight this problem , thank mylotters.

Hi, cadguy08. I am very sorry to hear about this. I have had up to 6 to 8 eviction letters that were given to me my family in all of the homes that I have stayed in. So, I know what you are going through, trust me, I do. At least you have 30 days to move out. I don't like having an eviction letter given to me around here. Our neighbors would be able to see the police come into our building. Sooner or later they will find out that they have came to deliver an eviction notice by hand. This is so embarrassing. We are three months behind in our rent too. We may get evicted this moth too. My husband has some of the rent money, he is working at his job making the rest of it. I see that you are working. I feel that the law should not evict anyone as long as they are making an effort to work. You need a place to live for you and your three kids! Where do the court system expect for you to live at?? I will pray for you as I am praying for myself right now. My husband was out of work for about two months. That is what has made us fall back behind in rent. I am unemployed and I have an Herniated Disc in my back. I can't just work at any job because of my back pain. It is so hard to find a job right here in the town that I live in. Many people think that I am making excuses for not finding a job, but the truth is, I am not! I get so stressed out just thinking about an eviction being served on us. My husband says that he is not worrying about anything because the money that he is now saving up to pay the rent here, he will use this money to pay the rent somewhere else. Either they will work with him, or he will take his money elsewhere! They still don't win.. He will pay back what he owes them so that it won't be on his credit at all. At least you have been working and struggling to make ends meet for you and your family For that, you don't need to be evicted. Being evicted can cause a tremendous strain on a family. I have been through it, I know how it feels. Before and after.. Try going to the government places to see if they can help you out. Anywhere that funds are made available to you. I hope that things will change for the better. Don't feel bad, you are not alone. Trust in God, he will make a way for you and see you through! I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and my prayers!

I understand what you mean. My husband had Scolosis when he was a teenager. He has went through back surgery too. He now has a rod in his lower back. When he works carpentry and electrical jobs he will be affected if he pulls the wrong muscle. This is what has caused him to be out of work for two months. I tried working in 2006 myself and I always passed out! I could not bend to make up the beds. I went back to my grandmother's house after work and I was in so much of pain. I was feeling really bad. My chest and lower back ached like crazy! This is when I quit my job and stopped working altogether. I have an SSI case that I have appealed. I am now awaiting on the judge/God's decision. I pray that God will bless me with this money. I really could use it right about now. I truly believed that I had an Herniated Disc in my back since, 2003. I just found out about it in July 2008. I really do hope that things will get better for you and your family. You are a man that is working and putting forth effort. Putting you out of a place to live will make nothing better for you. God has to come through for you and your family! I will put my prayer request in right now so that God can bless you and your family and free you all from this stress!

Oh wow cadguy08 your family and you will be in my thoughts and prayers.....I to know what it is like to get an eviction notice but I also made arrangements to catch up on the rent as I explained my financial situation to them so they let me stay with my two kids 17 and 4.....I'm currently on a gov cheque that pays hardly anything at all so I know how it feels to be overwhelmed with money problems...God will be your rock and you pray to him he will guide you through....

Dear friend, I'm sorry to hear this. I don't know how to console you. I can imagine the feelings that you're having right now. If it were me, I won't know how to handle it either because it's too much of a blow. Ok, you have two kids right? Think of them as a source of energy, for you to persist on. Well, they are still young, so try not to let them get wind of the notice. Here's a piece of advise for you, try not to think of that eviction yet. Be more positive, and maybe find a part-time job to pay off some bills first. Hope this helps you..

Thank you very much for your support, my kids gave some source of energy when ever I saw them home. I'm so grateful to all of you who responded and suggested a good advised. I hope this blowed to my family , we can surpass it. My kids were really sad and hearten what happen to us, they don't want to leave our home it's their home that they grew up for many years with nice neighborhood and friends they will leave. I'm thinking that's one problem that we can fight but to tell you frankly this morning I was alone thinking and writing this post makes me very sad and down but when all of you responded it gave some strength to fight what we were encountering right now. Thanks again to all of you .

Hold on tight, never lose hope. This is just a trial that surely you and your family can surpass through. At least you got a new apartment to live. Let's just work hard and pray that your new work can help you sustain the needs. We are in the same boat and I understand how frustrating it is..Just have faith.

notice of eviction is really frustrating, you got to move to another place and a lot of stuff to handle, all in all, the transfer from place to another is very tiring. but one you settle to the new place you become relaxed and happy. please dont loose hope, maybe god is just trying how much can you bear and its time to show him that he is still the one you are stand with and he still the one you long for in this kind of situation.

Thanks borototoy , it's really good to be back to our Lord my Savior and need him so badly at this time around. Last year me and wife were really very down that we lost hope and stay away from HIM (God) but now that we're back to Him I hope He'll give us strength and will to fight this problem that we encounter. And to those who comments, gave suggestions and strengthen our family to fight- I and family give thank you to all.

Okay, look,, seriously, I have a job you can do. A real job. It may look like I am offering you a job for my own gain..but forget it.. You need a job.. You can start without any risk to yourself.. It cost you 50 dollars to start so you can buy your product at cost and sell for profit. A product almost every household wants. Send me a message if you are interested. This is the easiest business you can do. Choice is yours.

I am very sorry to hear about your eviction problem..The job market is terrible..Have you tried local food banks? I'm really not sure how your system works in Canada...Here in Colorado our local food bank will also help with rent and electric services if you have a shut-off notice...
Good luck on your new job tomorrow,I hope it turns out to be a long lasting employment for you...
I know your kids are probably really sad about moving but they will adjust..We moved from Ohio to Colorado in July...Our 12 year old was not happy to be moving but she is adjusting quite well..Making new friends now that school has started
I know you are feeling depressed, just take life one day at a time...That way everything wont seem as over whelming to you..The most important thing is family as long as you support each other the rest will work out.

Thanks for the responds and for giving goodluck on my new work tommorrow, I hope I'll be there for a long time. About food banks they don't really provide any assistance on rent and electric bills at all just food such as bread, can food and fresh vegetable and fruits.Thank you again for encouraging for my family welfare.
