If we are talking about friends that I can really count on, then I have way more of real friends than online friends. I have many good friends where I live. If I need any help, anytime, I can call friends that will rush to help me. Of course they know that they can also count on me. Online, maybe I have a couple of those friends but they are so far away that by the time they would get here, I would already be buried. LOL

I have many friends in real life, but also some online friends. I learned to know one of them better than the others this summer. He is a wonderful person and we sometimes talk on the phone as we have a lot in common. The other online friends communicate by email or sometimes in Facebook and there are many interesting people among myLot friends too. You can be very good friends online, if you build the friendship with someone who is willing to do the same.

Hi, I guess I have more real friends than online friends. I still keep in touch with some of my old mates and when I go back to my hometown, we will have a small gathering. It is so fun to meet them again. Through facebook, I manage to find back some old mates which I have lost contact for more than 10 years.

Well, it depends on the individual. Maybe, you are expecting more out of your real friends. This might be due to the fact that you know them more closely and interact with them more. You also know how they look physically and get to talk to them face to face and therefore have a deeper interaction and closer relationship with them, therefore prompting you to share more stuff with them. For your online friends, you might be put a more guarded stance chatting with them. Since you don't really know them and normally don't really know who they really are, you might have less expectation from them. Therefore, at time of distress and down time, you might feel that they are better than your real friend as they would always lend their ears to your plight. You will also find them less harsh and treat you gentler in time of need. This is due to the fact that the relationship is not as deep as your real friends. Remember that we usually treat strangers very nice? Why? Because we don't know them very well! Online friends and real friends can be real nice. It depends on how you treat and share the information with them.

I thing that "online friends" aren't a real friends. They are just a person behind the other computer who even i have never seen. You can't trust them bec?use you don't know them. I'm disagree that people are more interested to make online friends more than real! I want to see the person, when he laugh and when he smile. I prefer a visual contact with the person. Of course this i my opinion and i want to see yours !

I have more online friends than real friends, though I do acknowledge that real friends are more... friend-worthy, I suppose.
