I bought this watermelon at Aldi and it was a huge one!!! I thought I would never get through cutting it up!! O.M.G. I am glad it is done before when I would walk in the kitchen in the MIDDLE of the night that thing was so big I would be half asleep and it would scare me!!

I was debating on buying one last week or not. It's just so messy to cut up! But you know it's the time of year here where we have to grab it while it's in season so we don't pay a mint for them in off season KWIM?

Yes it is a mess to clean up but well worth it!! That thing was only2.99!!

Wow, that's some story. I usually don't buy watermelons at the store. I grow them inside, and also found an article to help others grow watermelons inside. http://gomestic.com/gardening/how-to-grow-water-melons-inside/

LOL I bought 8 small watermelons today and ate two already. I love watermelons but I'll be getting a few times tonight. LOL I bought some re, some yellow, and some orange. I think they are good cleansers for our insides. Here, it is the season for local watermelons and they are the best. Enjoy!
