This comes to my senses now that it is better for me to concentrate in twitter than facebook. It's too hot in facebook and many people becoming "narrow-minded" in answering wall posts.
I just have this unfortunate incident in facebook this week. I just post a not-so-threatening post about "cheerdance is more glamorous than mr.and ms. ek ek and in order for a program to have a glamorous status, you must win cheerdance consistently", it was that simple. Then this awful dean with a peculiar personality, called me "why are you bitter?" so I replied that I am not bitter and what I am saying is just my own opinion and I didn't single our any program.
You know what he did? he confronted me severely and maligned me and humiliated me and displayed his highest arrogance to the max and brought up the issue that that's why I never mingle out talking about lovelife because I am bitter with my life.
Oh hell!that's totally out of the context!and this man spurted words like a demon, a complete monster!to think that he attained a highest educational attainment? his behavior never reflected as such. It was terrible but I didn't cry because I just pity his insecurities.

It happens in social networking sites..
When u say something , some people will be talking like this..
The better way is to block those users from your account..
I have had some experiences like that before and i have blocked those users..
U could also flag them as inappropriate for being rude against you as this violates the privacy policy!!

Hello!
I am planning to customize my private setting next week and just select people who could view my post and post comments to avoid generating controversies. But my point is, whatever wall posts we read in facebook should not be given too much energy because it is just a post and nothing else!..so nobody deserves to be maligned and humiliated.

But now days those wall posts are doing much!!
Many around the world have started using internet, instead of sending a text message to a friend, they just post in the wall to be viewed by the public..and there are always some sort of guys to humiliate if they don't like our posts!!
May be u could add me as ur friend in facebook..I won't humiliate anybody in my friends list who update their wall post!!
Just find me with the user name here in mylot

Hi there Jlamela!
I think that as mentioned before me, you can get across someone like that, as narrow minded anywhere and not just on Facebook. I think that everyone is entitled to her own opinion and maybe you should just modify your privacy setting so that the chosen people can only do certain things on your Facebook wall and even with comments, photos and messaging.

I am not concentrating on either of the two though! I like facebook, shall I say because I am not well-versed yet with twitter but I have an account though. I like facebook for communications, but I am not that into facebook for posting something! Sun cellular though offers 0.facebook.com so I can easily access it wherever I am, wherever I feel to...

oh, you can call your operator to ask some assistance though. I do not know what is the problem on your gprs, but I am sure your operator can help you! Had you tried sending MMS to your own number, that is one of the test you have to do when configuring your gprs setting... and you know, even my handset is a lot smaller than my pc at work, but at least it can help me rest my fingers in typing the whole day long as I have to use my two thumbs, actually I really find it better, and it's 100% free!!!!!

For me it is quite the opposite. I don't really understand Twitter and that is the reason that I choose to not use it. Of course, I also don't spend a lot of time keeping my status updated on facebook either because, well frankly, most of the time I don't have anything that is worth sharing as a facebook status. The main reason that I use facebook is to be able to keep up with my friends and family that live far away from where I live.

That is facebook for you, sweetie.
Narrow minded and childish.
Not even mentioning manners when it comes to different languages.
I have a mind and close mine and rather just use twitter.
People on facebook are childish and they are very fast to throw a towel around, but they never ask who's towel that is.
I so wish i could have seen that post.
Let me teach you how to deal with people like that.
I had enough of these people on facebook.
Time to teach them manners.
TATA.

Yes I guess, facebook has lots of narrowminded users but I think if those narrowminded are plain and ordinary folks, meaning not perceived to be highly intellectual, they are excused but if those people possessed a high educational attainment and hold a high position in a company, that's something horrifying and made me think if the highly educated people really gone to their brain the educational attainment they possessed.
You are right, those people should learned lessons. Thanks for sharing!

Hello jlamela,
It was so sad to have experience something like that. Well, there is no difference whether you are in facebook or in twitter. It is just a coincidence that it happens in Facebook.
Anyways, as for me, I like Facebook than Twitter. To me, twitter is much more complicated. Aside from that, most of my friends are in Facebook.

This come to my mind after analysing facebook for some times. I found it's not so bad for people who wanna make a big network. Some say : we can get many friends there that we forget it before.

That is why I am only adding close friends to my "personal" Facebook account.
I also uses a "business" Facebook account wherein I use an alias instead of my true identity.
