I'm not going to lie when I say that I am very picky on this site about what I do. I don't do anything that requires a credit card or a "test" trial. And those of course pay the most. I usually go through and pass up the .01 jobs because that won't make me enough. In 3 days I have made a nice amount. Nothing crazy but plenty more than pennies. Now I will see if this site will actually pay me. But everyone has been pretty good about approving or denying my jobs so I am pretty happy with that. I think this is a good source of extra cash if you need it and you really weed out the "crap" that some people put on there as HITS.

I have been using Mturk for almost 2 years but due to certain limitation vary from country my payment method is converted to Amazon.com gift certificate meaning I can only use it to buy at amazon.com. The payment is good vary on how many hits you work and how much that hit are you working. Classify this! is one you should look for besides of being easy to do they pay fast. I recommend Mturk.com for people who have patience and will to do a little amount but can do a lot.

Yup. Getting compensated with gift certificates rather than cash was a major turnoff. Even if I wanted to give Mechanical Turk a try, being paid with some unfamiliar currency seemed a little complicated. It would really be convenient if they can pay through PayPal. But until then, Mechanical Turk is not a compelling enough opportunity for moneymaking.

I just had mine transferred to my bank account. But I am from the US so I was able to do that.

I tried it before but I only take the cheap jobs that I can do. I haven't made enough for me to get paid but my account is still active and I will check the site again if I have the time.

I think I just got lucky with the few that actually paid like $5. It didn't take me too long to go through them. It's just like anything else, basically if it says survey or sign up you don't do it.

I have yet to accept a HIT at Mechanical Turk. Most of the jobs posted there seemed too cheap and at the same time, complicated. Looking for the perfect HIT is also problematic and a rather time consuming process. Anyway, I hope that, one of these days, Amazon will somehow set some kind of minimum for the jobs offered there. And maybe, Amazon will also limit the jobs to specific types rather than allowing a lot of very technical stuff to be posted there.
