I have recently started clipping coupons and have really saved some money already. I saved $64 a few weeks ago when I went to the grocery store and over $30 week before last. I have purchased Toothpaste both FREE and for $0.25, Deodorants ranging from $0.13 to around $0.55, Free Feminine products and much more. Do any of you have a wonderful coupon savings story to tell us?

I clip coupons from the Sunday newspaper. I take advantages of offers made by stores in my area like recently we were offered a $20 coupon to transfer a prescription to a local Meijer store. I also print online at places like coupons, smartsource, redplum and coupon bug. When I am looking for specific brand coupons I often check out the manufacturers websites under promotions. Walmart in my area carries a magazine called ALL YOU that is full of coupons. When getting started it takes some searching to find what you need but after a little while, it seems very easy to find coupons everywhere. I hope this helps in your area and you can find the coupons you need, it really does help on the grocery bill. Good Luck!

I would love to do this, but coupons are not so common where I live, so I can't... :(

Being from the US, I didn't even think about the circumstances elsewhere. I apologize and wish I knew a way that would help you save money. I am not familiar with how coupons work outside the US, but thank you for responding and I wish you luck in finding ways to save money.

Yup. Coupon clipping is a classic way of saving money. In fact, there are actually booklets of coupons being sold to the public. At least, I'm aware that coupons are very popular in the United States.
Unfortunately, using coupons is not that widespread here in the Philippines, but then again, I may be the last person to know that it's actually in vogue. I'll have to check the local newspapers for offers and look around for stores offering discounts and freebies.
