Some of us rely on how great the movie is by watching the trailer. Well yeah the trailer looks good until you watch the movie and after that you realize that the movie sucks! So what movie do you watched that is good in trailer but the whole movie sucks! Last time I personally think Transformers 2 will be a great movie after seeing the trailer but disappointed on how the movie goes after watching it.
The recent film that I watched is The Expendables.
I watched the trailer ...Yeah great trailer!
But the after watching the movie... what is that it?!

I'm a big fan of the tv series Avatar: The Last Airbender. I like that they were coming out with a film. When I saw the film's trailer, I was excited. All the 3d/etc bending made me want to watch the film. When I watched The Last Airbender, I was disappointed. It was bad casting, bad acting, bad writing... the only thing good was the special effects.

Twilight. The series was great and everybody was excited about the movie coming out but when the first movie came out, it was bad acting, bad movie effects, and very bad makeup.

Thankfully I found out that the movie sucked. I saw the trailer for Public Enemies and Doubt and thought I wanted to see them but I didn't get a chance to see them in the theater. when they came to cable I tried both and thought Wow! I hate this!

Wow, the first movie that struck me when I first read your discussion title was "Twilight:Eclipse". The movie was pathetic and I was tearing my hair off for actually watching it in a multiplex.
I loved the Transformers series, can't wait for more. 300 and I Am Legend is also one of my favorites.

I agree.. I couldn't wait for Eclipse to come out. I went to the midnight showing and it took all i had to stay awake the whole time. I was very disappointed.

One time I remember that happening was about six or seven years ago with the movie Cats and Dogs. It was a comedy (well, billed as one anyway) with animated and animatronic cats and dogs that can talk and fight each other. The preview made it look cute and funny. In reality, it was just a really stupid movie from beginning to end, with hardly any funny parts. And I felt bad, because I convinced my whole family to watch it. I really had to keep apologizing to them all for making them sit through it.

Personally I thought this movie was hysterical. I guess I have a different sense of humor from you.

that would be paranormal activity. the trailer featured people on theaters screaming because of the film. so i watched it. but it was very disappointing. half way in the film already and there wasn't anything scary happening at all. it was a waste of time and money! it was so boring that i couldn't even wait for it to end.

My friends watched trailers of The last Airbender and were all excited about watching it. Well, I watched the movie first and it was total mess!! Watched later the trailer, but hmmm.... ok
At least my friends might have felt the way you did

IRONMAN 2.
There were scenes shown at the trailer that weren't in the movie. Although ironman 2 is a hit, and I love Robert Downey Jr. and the whole cast, i was quite disappointed that the scene I was looking forward to watch was not in the movie.

Bridge To Terabithia - the trailer made it look like The Chronicles of Narnia or something but there wasn't any real magic in it, few special effects, the plot was lame and the whole thing was very much a downer.

I watched transformers 2 and I liked it. But part 1 was more better than it. I also watched Expendables last week and it was fine. I only watch it because of the big-time actors who are in it and it was okay. The most frustrating movie I saw was Airbender! Yes the trailer was absolutely cool. That was when I got excited. After all of the excitement, I did not expect it would be like that. The whole story was changed. Although maybe I disliked it because I watch the TV series. The TV series was more better than the movie.

You, Me and Dupree. - The trailer looked a riot of comedy, the movie blew chunks. Just another case of a comedy where all the funniest scenes were crammed into a 2 minute trailer and the rest of the movie was bad.

i like to watch many movies in the trailer only because makers use their talent more in making good trailers than good movie..!!

The movie that totally dissapointed me after wathing the trailer was "The men who stare at goats". From it's cast and trailer i tought it would be a great movie, but it sadly turned out that all of the comical situations were included in the trailer. too bad:(

When I saw your title, I immediately thought about Kick-*ss. When I watched the trailer I thought I was gonna see loads of superhero humor, maybe some references, sort of a Mask combined with spider man. Instead I got a movie which sort of forgot what it was all about, and got all serious and dark by the end. I actually felt sorry for mister Nic Cage.
In my opinion if they would've stuck with the trailer's atmosphere (which by the way was present in the first half of the film) it would've been...well....kick-*ss
