I might be pushing it by posting this under Braveheart. But I'm talking about the person in your life who had led the proverbial army against any harm coming to you. Who is this person for you?
For me it was my Grandma. My Mom was ill, and she moved in with us and took care of us both. If it wasn't for her my Mom would have died much sooner, and who know what would have happened to me. So she is my Braveheart.

The best hero is my dad! No offense meant to my mom, but i was never really close to her. My dad molded me into a wonderful that I am today. He never really backed down in taking care of us (I have 4 siblings by the way). He sacrificed everything for us without saying anything. My mom is working abroad. We barely see her. I have no childhood memories of me with my mother and my dad gave everything to us. So, I can say that my father is really my hero and I would do anything to make him proud of me.

I'm sure it would warm his heart to know that you care for him so deeply. 5 children could be quite a handful, and he never said anything? He must be a very patient man.

who is the King of Morocco? How did he become king? Was he voted in, or was he born into it?

For me it is my sisters. Both my elder one and my younger one. Inspite of facing problems which would have broken a strong person, both of them are still fighting to live a normal life. And they are doing good in their work life too. And the next is my husband. Even though we are going through a rough patch now, he never gives up.

I never had any siblings, but I've heard that they usually either love each other or hate each other. I'm glad that you love yours
:) when you have a supportive spouse, it's the most wonderful thing in the world.

Hi.. Good topic:).. For me its my mother... My dad passed away when I was 3 years old and from then she stood alone and rescued me from all the ill happenings around me.... She gave me good education. I'm a B.E graduate and just two months back i got married. And my husband is my next hero:):)

Just skimming through the answers here, I see a lot of family members. I think it's wonderful that families stick together the way they do. It's as it should be!

i guess my hero will be both my mom and my dad. they were the one who raised me and are the ones responsible for me being who i am today. they instilled discipline and correct attitude towards life, work and relationships

kinship is the great motive for us to lead a life no matter what difficulty we come across. My father is such a hero in my heart. he is a plain father just as thousands of millions of other fathers in the world. but he is my only father. he is strict. im afraid of him when im a little girl. when Im grown up, I keenly feel the warm love from my father.
