My daughter is in pre school, and she is four years old.. On summer vacation next year,I am planning to enroll her in KUMON. A learning center which focuses on Math and Reading. Though I don't have the best information about the center, I think they would help train my kid in math and reading aspects.. But I do want to know more about what's with KUMON, so please if anybody has experienced studying there, can you share me your views on their efficiency? Thanks and Happy myLotting!!

Yup but I think they've been here for several years already and I think their learning programs are nice so I really target on enrolling my kid with them in the nearest branch here in our place next year.. I believe they will help enhance my kid's learning abilities specially in Math and English.. I was just thinking if one month would be enough for her to learn because the fees are quite costly.. But if it is worth it then I'll go for it.. Thanks for responding to this topic dweebs..

Kumon is a learning system that provides individual learning programs in accordance with their respective capabilities, which enables children to explore their potential and develop the ability to maximally. Through the Mathematics and English lessons, Kumon is not only a form of academic ability alone, but also form a positive character and "life-skills" (life skills) that will be useful for future children. In practice this method of dividing into six stages, including: At first, the child took a pocket book that has been provided, submit homework worksheets that have been doing at home, and take a worksheet that has been prepared tutors to work with children on the day. Children sat down and started doing work sheets. Because the lessons programmed in accordance with their respective capabilities, usually a child can do with the current worksheet. After finishing work, worksheets submitted to the supervisor for review and rated. While pieces of assessed work, training child with learning aids. After the worksheet is completed is checked and given a value, counselors learn that day record the results on the "List of Values." These results will be analyzed for the preparation of the next learning programs. If there are parts that are still wrong, children are asked to rectify these parts until all the pieces of his 100 score. The goal, so that children master the lessons and not repeat the same mistakes. Once completed, the child follow verbal exercises. Before leaving, counselors provide evaluation of child work that day and tells kids the materials that will be done the next day.
