How Putting Banner on Profile Page....????

i am so tired because i am trying 3 days put banner on my profile page but not success. i tell you my steps...
(1) "Go profile"
(2) "Edit Profile"
(3)Click "Add Content"
(4)select "HTML Sortie"
(5)Paste My Links Banner Code
(6)Click Save Changes
(7)View Profile
i learn many discussion that after paste link Banner code hit enter keyboard but when i am do it than go web page. so please help. please discuss your knowledge. thanks

This is what I do. You can try it, it might work with you too.
*Paste your banner on the second line of the HTML box sortie.
Meaning when you are at the box where you are going to paste your banner, press enter so that your cursor will go to the second line, then paste and save changes.
