I was surfing the other day and found a link to an article called "10 signs he's only interested in you as a friend". I sometime read this kind of stuff for fun because most of them are extremely ridiculous and amusing. But in this case I'm starting to wonder if they are not actually making up stuff for the sake or writing stupid articles.
Why do I say this? Because the "7th sign" was : If he names your dog after you....
Have you ever in your entire life met a guy who named his dog after his best (girl)friend or one of his friends? Can you actually call a friend a person that does that to you? And more...do you need more signs he's more than not interested? :)))
Happy myloting and maybe you'll help me sort out this modern day "dilemma" :))

Hello Reyachan :)
Wow, that is awefull, i mean seriously. How could one do that, name your dog after your friend's or partner's name? I don't know how others would react to this, but i am going to be offended if someone does that with my name. A dog is not worth your friend's name.

Hey voldrox :)
My thoughts exactly! I never saw anyone doing that, but the message I would personally understand from that is : "I like if you bring me my slippers and the morning paper"...Only I wouldn't give him the slippers but.."the boot" rofl
As for parents that give weird names to their kids, I don't get or either! They should know better than anyone how mean kids are and not subject their own to ridicule. We're suppose to protect our children to put them in the line of fire :P
Thanks for your contribution and happy posting! :)

Hi Reyachan,
There are a lot of trashy articles in the internet where people write sensational things just to get their own earnings. We should take all these readings with a pinch of salt.
As for the dog name issue....I guess the girl friend might ceased to be the "best" after that since it seems more like poking fun at her than liking her as a friend.

Hello bluemoon! You made a very good point here. A person who calls his dog after a someone he knows doesn't have any kind of respect for that person. And without that, they can barely be called friends i guess.
I know people write articles for money and it's not those kind of articles that worry me. Those are practically freelancing. This article I found, on the other hand is from an actual magazine. Which is much worse because it's practically credited as professional writing...

I find a lot of these list of reasons of things that go wrong romantically to be extremely dumb as well. If a person doesn't know that someone is not interested, I don't think they should rely on an online article of possible things to go off of. They might just have to live and learn on their own. I personally hate the articles of "why men cheat" or "why women cheat" even more, because so many of them are just giving excuses as to what makes people cheat. I feel the same sort of exasperation when I read Cosmo sometimes. I just don't know if all of this "advice" really helps.

Hey spicy! Thank you for joining this discussion. I like what you said about people living and learning on their own and I agree with you. Not only when it comes to romance issues but everything life related. I noticed a lot of people are very insecure and prefer to ask for advice from multiple sources before actually proceeding to an action. And I think that's a total waste of time. Advice and precautions are good but in the end you have to go out there and live it and take your own decisions.
Happy myloting!

Hello sweetlove! I know what you mean...they are very very funny! The sad part is that some people actually take this kind of advice and use it as guidelines to their life. As for the guy loving the dog more..I have doubts. A dog with human name is just as ridiculous.
Happy posting!

Obviously, he is not in to that person as much as that person thinks he/she is. I think the person who names a dog after his/her friend is ridiculous, more so if such person told him/her the name of that dog. In this modern day, we do not need signs for that. We just need to trust our instincts and considering you're a woman, let the guy make the first move.

Hello mindreader!
I believe that modern day or not, we still need signs when it comes to relationships. What we don't need though is this kind of advice, given by articles. I don't understand who actually follows the advice they give. If I want to ask something, I ask my friends because they know the situation from the outside and can be more objective.
Anyway...I wanted to ask you something since you brought up the subject of modern day mentioned the fact that women should let the guy make the first move. What do you think of women who come on to guys in this case? Do you consider that kind of behavior too aggressive or not fit for a woman?
Happy posting!
