There's nothing like a good mystery scare to satisfy the "whodunnit?" appetite, especially when the setting was in an island where an asylum stands waiting for more derranged patients. A murder always seems to make insanity more delectable, more 'out there'. What person could actually pull off a good story where the supposedly hero turned out to be a mental patient himself. Pure genius!

Too bad I was not able to watch this movie though I really had to, but I was so busy during the time it was shown here in our place, I like Leo Di Caprio and director Martin Sorcese, so it was really a big disappointment I wasn't able to catch it in theaters. I will wait for a DVD copy for this film though. Thanks for your nice review about the film.

You pulled out the spoiler too soon! Not for me, lol coz i have seen the movie. I hope the ones who haven't seen the movie don't read this. Anyways, yeah it was an awesome movie and the lead role was great! As you would expect from Leonardo! I like his movie. I like the movie Inception too! I like good mystery movies with a severe atmosphere and good suspense! You would not be able to guess what happens next and there lies all the fun. Watching movies where you could predict what is going to happen gets quite boring you know. So i always like a thriller mystery movie. Shutter island was a great one and i want to watch more of such movies.

I loved it. Normally I am really good at figuring out movies. This one I had no clue until it all unraveled on screan. I wish they had more movies that were harder to figure out it makes it more interesting.
