what is your favorite american TV series?

i have watched a lot of american TV series already and i found many that are very interesting. One of my favorites is Lost but the ending was quite frustrating. I also was into kyle XY until season 3 and they didn't even give it a decent ending. Currently, i love modern family and brothers and sisters. i also just started watching how i met your mother and chuck. i have watched smallville from season 1-7 but i lost interest when lex was no longer part of the main cast. though i'm thinking to watch the latest season since it's going to be the last.
