Change is pain that is exactly why people feel for certain changes. Most of the time we feel disappointed.I asked my self why really people resist change? Thats why i come up with the list.
1. Insecurity. Fear of unforseeable consequences.
2.Fear of criticism if they cannot cope.
3.Loss of money.Eroded diffentials.
4.Posible breaking up of work groups which were harmoious.
5.Status may be treatend.
6.Posible lost of job interest.
So how can we help people to accept change?

Most of the people dont like change because they dont want to change. When changes come into view, fear & resistance to change follow - often despite its obvious benefits. People dont naturally resist change, but they do oppose changes that are inflicted on them.
If you want someone to accept change, you must first understand why they may resist. By anticipating their likely reaction to your plan or proposal, you can make intelligent decision about how to introduce the change.
Accept change when you know whether it is good or bad in long run.

the only thing that is constant in this world is change. People are afraid of it because they dreaded the pain of loss. They keep on holding on to something that they loved so much. People must not be taught to accept change but make them know it's something one can't avoid no matter how much we dislike it. Pain of lost is only temporary and one must move on to keep on living.

The only way people can accept change is by showing them that the rest of the world around them has accepted it. Another way is to show how the change actually helped you in solving the problems you were facing before. But not always can change be considered as a rational decision, so its better to rethink and analyze well before accepting change.

we have to consider for changes does not mean we need to accept it right away . Just like we have to know what is right and what is wrong . what will need for improvement what need to retain what need to replace. If changes will give more benifits then i guess no reason not to implement and gradually it . thank for the response. enjoy....

People want to change but their ego's dont allow them to do it. they set out to change the world, but when it comes to changing themselves they feel that they are always right.

Well, it depends on the situation, but a lot of times the only thing yo ucan do is support the person in accepting and living with the change.
Sometimes one can even embrace change as a new callenge of life like a new school or job or house etc. I often use this little "tactic" when I'm facing serious changes in my life :)
In my experience the only thing that really helps is friendly support - physical or emotional - and assurance that you are behind the person whatever the outcome.

changes is not easy and takes a lot of patient before we accept it . Its should be gradually in process before we realize we already accepted. we always look forward what may or what will happen in our decisions. Your right emotionally and physical first to consider to start changes. Even at work you have to prepare and compose your self as a boss to lobby the the changes that will happpen. explain everything the best that we can do and listen to our subordinates reactions. The implement gradually. monitor the changes on hand if effective or need improvents. It's all a matter of how we deal and accept.

I believe that people resist change because they don'tknow how to deal with. We can become too comfortable with certain situations and ideas in life. When they are subject to change, we can have difficulty knowing how to accept it. we are often happier just the way things are. Unfortunately, liife can't always remain that way. change will come whether we like it or not.
