Who all are the players you think will retire after the World Cup 2011?

sachin?i dont think so.everytime anyone ask him this question,his answer has always been NOT ANYTIME SOON. so you can tick him off the list unless a miracle happens and india wins the world cup.if we dont,sachin will wait for 2015 world cup to get the world cup. i also have a suspicion that ponting might retire only from ODI.he loves test matches too much. there is kallis but probably not. if our selectors have any sense,they should give dravid a last run in the world cup and let him be the one to finish his odi career. i believe there is big list of pakistan players who might retire ( suspend ) during this world cup but other than that,i dont see any oldies

I think that sachin will definitely retire after the world cup. May be ponting will also retire after this world cup.

I feel Sachin will retire after 2011 world cup. It will be good to retire when on a high note. It gives other youngsters a great chance to shape for the future tournaments. But, Sachin's place can be replaced by no one. What a player India has!!

I feel that along with sachin tendulkar, Zaheer khan will also retire...he has been facing a lot of injuries.

Yup you are right that some big players do retire after the word cup is over...and the guesses would be the players nearing their 40's as it is high time that players retire and new blood given a chance in the team for the future.. Having said that..golden oldies retiring would be Dravid, Tendulkar, Ponting, Kallis, Jayasuriya, Boucher, Brett Lee, Ntini, Mohd. yousuf(again).......but you might see few of them quitting one form of cricket then the other...Ponting might quit ODI but would stay in test, same with Tendulkar, Kallis, Mohd Yousuf... I personally do not think any of them would retire from all forms of cricket...may be from one form they might retire.

I think Sachin can retire after world cup 2011.. because it's also Sachin's desire.. that India win a world cup .. Sachin is god of records.. Every records have in sachin's pocket.. but only world cup not of Indian teams when Sachin comes in Indian team.. so it is a big dream of their..
