I think I am going to give up on mylot

After trying this site out yesterday for the first time, I am not sure if I like it. I understand that you earn money on this site but to earn a mere $10.00 you would have to post probably over one hundred discussions. You could probably make a lot more money doing something else NOT on the internet with less time then you would spend on this thing. The amount of time and effort spent on mylot to make a little bit of cash doesn't seem worth it. This website is very frustating to me, I made $0.14 yesterday after 10 postings, which equaled to about an hour and a half of my time. I can sell newspapers on the corner and make more than that in an hour and a half.

Okay, but for those of is strapped to a computer, this isn't too bad...I can come back to it when bored. It is better than yahoo answers where you get nothing but points!

I like yahoo answers because it's more organized. Even though yahoo answers only give points as opposed to cash, the money doens't really matter that much to me because it takes too long to add up and I don't have the time to dedicate. I can't see anyone that would have that kind of time unless they were at home collecting disability checks.

I like yahoo better as well. I really don't need the 5 cents. That is basically nothing.

Ah!! A kindred heart. That I like. Me too. All I can do is respond to other people. I tried a few questions and they dont seem to appeal to people. Sad. I wonder how to start a discussion. So, I sit and go thru the discussions posted and still am not able to find a pattern, which sets people responding. If you are a girl and stick up your pic and make yourself beautiful perhaps you may get more responses, hee,hee.....dunno.....Good luck to you!!

Honestly, I'm on my way to 600 post and have not reached $10 and I have 3 referrals along with that.

Wow, 600 posts is a lot. And with the 3 referrals I would think that you would have reached $10 by now.

I would have to agree with you. I really don't think it's that important for me to post for a lifetime to get $10. I only have .72 and I've been on for about a year. Sucks! I don't have 24 hours to play on mylot either.
