Gertrude Vachon a.k.a. Luna Vachon was born in Montreal Quebec, Canada January 12,1962 and died August 27,2010 from a drug overdose. I am going to refer to her as her ring name Luna Vachon. Luna's wrestling family was Butcher Vachon (Father) , Mad Dog Vachon(Uncle), The Fabulous Moolah (Aunt). She was close to Andre The Giant. Luna was married three times Dan Hurd which she had 2 sons, Tom Nash (A childhood friend), and David Heath (Gangrel) Investigators found Oxycodone and multiple prescription drugs in her bedroom. The medication was due to her injuries from her career as a wrestler as well as bipolar disorder medication. During her career she had feuds and won some titles and was featured in Playboy and Hustler.
