I love Lady Gaga because of her pairless talent and showmanship on stage. But sometimes she is annoying because of her too much skin exposure. Yes, I admire her a an artist but not as a good example to youngsters. Who has the same feeling here?

I absolutely love Gaga. I have tickets to her show here in March and I can't wait to see the amazing performance. I don't think she is trying to be a role model. She is just trying to express herself through performance. She isn't trying to make people like her and I love that about her. She is amazing and the costumes she wears are fantastic. I plan on wearing one to her show after I figure out which one I like the best.

I dont like her style really. I am sorry to say this. Her music is good but her videos are a bit annoying. It usually has a long intro and then too much drama. You have a point. Clearly it is her fashion or style that I don't like her. As what you have said... too much skin exposure and too much make up. too much too much too much

I agree with you. Her lates video Alejandro is full of blasphemy. Her music is good but not her videos.. I love the she dress because it is unique. But too much of everything is not really good.

I see Miss Gaga(can't help but laugh out loud whenever I hear someone say her stage name.) in the same light as Prince. They both have a metric ton of talent, and their performances are always a sight to see. Prince is very vulgar though.his whole M.O. is about hooking up with the ladies. I can relate, and thus I respect that. His songs are filled with double entendres, and he's known for walking out on stage with pants that had no fabric covering his butt. Can't deny the guys artistic prowess when it comes to music...But cmon! Individuality is very important, but there's a fine line to being your own man/woman, and just going out of your way for shock value. Highly creative people do tend to get away with shock value, when they link it to being an artistic statement. I don't know how many kids really comprehend artistic statements that are so in your face though. The young'uns are a very observant demographic when it comes to entertainment. They see everything...So I don't know how well any parent can shield their kids from certain things these artists may say or do.

Nice point CBJones. Even parents could not do taht because they dont have time for their children. Music is everywhere now. It is accessible on the internet. The uncut music video of her song Telephone ft. Beyonce was really scandalous. Her body organ was showed their. It is artistic but freakin me out. What if kids will see that?

Her score-writing does have a nice style. It's the lyrics I have problems with. They are your typical, bland statements and plots that take refuge in audacity. But I'll admit she does have a well-trained voice. Clearly she trained for hours. Just watch her acoustic performance of Bad Romance and her Grammy performance. And the skin-exposure. Especially that vulgar incident at that baseball game. Lady Gaga is another celebrity who depends on "lust sells". Strangely, I heard somehwere that she pratice celibracy.
