It’s Tuesday, but it really feels like a Monday!

Duh! I know that the Labor day weekend has thrown everybody off, by making today Tuesday as the start of the week. I shouldn’t be surprised because it always happens every long weekend, but I just find myself ‘extra’ stressed today. Maybe it’s the thought of the tons of work I have to accomplish this week, and having the week a day short.
So, how is your Tuesday going? Do you have a feel for certain days (ref: Seinfeld episode)? Like the feeling of Friday as being so much different from the other days of the week. What are your thoughts on Tuesdays?

Yes from 1985-1988? Tuesdays at 10pm Meant Moonlighting. But then in their last season they got moved, what Should happen when you jump the shark, to Sundays at 8pm!I didn't make the move with them! ps. If you want to learn more about me, just send a PM. I promise to be a open as I can.

LOL! Friend, you having Monday blues? Just kidding. My tuesday is just like any other day. The days I feel relaxed are all the days except for tues and wed. Mondays, thursdays and sundays I play badminton that's why I feel happy about it. Fridays are, of course, end of the week and that's why I can slack off. Haha.

It's funny how one exrea day in our weejend can hrow us off balance. Take away a day freom the usual week we have and we fall behind. i know it takes a moment or two for me to refocus after a Monday gets tossed into our weekend.

I think Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the worse day of the week. Of course like everyone else I love Fridays, but Thursdays for me are not bad either, because I know the weekend is around the corner. I love long weekends but sometimes the amount of work you have on Tuesday makes you not even want to have that extra day off.

You're right! This Tuesday is turning out to be too much to handle in terms of my work (then what am I doin here in myLot?!).
I like Thursdays too! Back in university, Thursday was my lucky day, so I always have a feel for this day as being lucky.
Thanks!

Tuesdays huh? Feels like a Monday, but this time I know I've remembered everything. E.g: books, lunch, assesments

It's always like this for me, too... and I always make the same mistake that I made this morning. I don't even know how many people I said "Have a great Monday" to this morning and then having to hear all the snarky remarks like "yes, I will, but remind me in six days when it IS Monday." :-)
I have a feel for certain days, yes. I like Mondays actually. Saturdays feel totally different... Fridays have a certain excitement about them. Tuesday... well I never much thought about Tuesdays actually... they don't seem to have much going for them, do they? :-)

Actually, you're exactly right about Tuesday. I also think they don't have much going on for them, except for weeks like this where they are pushed out as the start of the week.
I like that snarky remark about being reminded in six days. I might actually use it. I'll wait until the first person makes that mistake on me. Haha!

Yeah, it felt like Monday to me too, but it is certainly Tuesday because I had a group meeting today, so I knew that it was Tuesday.
Tuesday is really just another day out of the week for me.

I don't mind Tuesdays. I look forward to them at the end of the day as I can preview DH's pay and set up my plan to pay bills for the week. Really any day that it's a school day is just fine with me. I hate long weekends now that my kids drive me nutty when they are home.

I am not quite sure what I could say this day feels like, I guess it doesn't feel like Tuesday. I did just clean my bathroom and I usually do that on Tuesday's so that made it feel more like a Tuesday to me. Monday seemed like Sunday.
I don't like the feeling of being rushed and stressed so I feel for you, maybe they should make Holiday's half work days or optional half work days?

A routine would certainly help keep the feeling of a particular day! And you're right, yesterday Monday did feel like a Sunday (but that's another discussion).
If I could only find a job that would have optional half work days, then I would be set!

If a job like that exists, it would be nice. I know some places like factories... if you work third shift there but it's closed for that shift for the holiday you can ask to work one of the other shifts.

Tuesdays are just another day for me. However, I completely see what you mean about Tuesday this week feeling like a Monday. I've felt off kilter all week. This only happens to me on those weeks where people that are in the working world are off on Monday. When it is Friday when people are off of school it really doesn't have a lot of an effect on me, but when it is on Monday, it really just throws my whole week off.

It seemed like that for the whole week. A Tuesday feeling last Wednesday, a Wednesday feeling yesterday, etc. Today is the only time this week that I feel that the days have caught up. Of course it helps that mind is already off to the weekend.
May you have a great weekend and a better week, next!

Yup! You're exactly right. Even today Wednesday, people were still a bit thrown off thinking it's a Tuesday.
Gone are the days when we have calendars with big numbers everywhere. These days, I'd be lucky if I could find a pocket calendar anywhere in the office.

For me Tuesday is like Monday Part 2. Because this is the day that you are a bit busy after manic Monday. this is a day that feel the aftershock of Monday. On the other hand I feel sometimes that Tuesday is near to the middle of the weekdays which is Wednesday.

I have asked myself numerous times today what day it is. Only because I have stuff to do Weds and Thurs and I keep thinking I am going to miss it because the days are off due to the holiday.
My Tuesday started out well but I have the most horrible headache. So hopefully it goes away soon!
