Is there an indication while a computer is being hacked? When I was working in a LAN environment, the computers can be accessed remotely by a program. An icon appears in the icon tray and you will be able to know if someone is viewing your computer or working on your computer. Normally, the IT guys would flash a message to inform you that they "in" your computer or call you attention before doing so.
For the internet, I know there is a function to communicate with a remote computer, and which utilizes a password, but I do know that, hacking is possible. Hacking does not necessarily have a virus, right? How will I know if I am being hacked? Is there a program I can use that would give indications when my computer is being hacked or being remotely controlled through the internet?

If you are being hacked you can let yourself know it because if your not doing anything on the computer and the task manager says you are, your most likely getting hacked or a program that runs all the time is slowing down your computer/laptop/phone. Hope This Helped.
