What do you do if you have only slept two hours and you need to go to work?

That happened to me today. What I did was just, I took a 1 hour power nap. After that my energy was back, but not really that of the typical day. My head is spinning like crazy. Im like a drunken master. After that I treated my self with 3 in 1 coffee just to wake my self up.

Yes, this happened to me once. I was having bad toothache
whole night and hardly have a wink of rest / nap. Yet I
have to rush to the city next morning for the Annual General
Meeting. My head was spinning, and I was really not well.
I try my level best to be alert and all I can think of is
I must get some sleep the first thing when I reached home.
Since I do not always take afternoon nap (power nap), I just
could not sleep at all. A good sleep is definitely a 'luxury'.

Drink some soda, take a cold shower, and splash a lot of water on my face when I get to work.

That is the reason why I am drinking energy drink because it helps me to have an energy and for me to wake up.

I would just go to work and drink energy drinks all day since I don't like coffee. I also would drink coke cola to stay awake. This happen to me once in my old job where I didn't get much sleep. I just drank energy drinks, do my work, and once I got home, I just took a shower, ate, and just went to bed so early to catch up my rest. Now I can't take naps because for some reason if I take one to two hours of a nap, I feel more tired than ever. So I try not to take naps.

Working night shift and being a mom after work gives me less time to sleep. I guess I kinda get used to the feeling that I can never enjoy the full 8 hours sleep (I mean who does that these days?)like NORMAL people do.
But you know what I do? I take a nap on my breaks and it helps.

well for me, personally, ... if I try to sleep only two hours or so it makes the day go worse than if I had just stayed up and kept going. I try not to do those all nighters anymore, ...but the last time I did...I showered, ate a huge breakfast, and then pounded monsters and 5 hour energies all day.

There have been times when I had to work for almost 30 hours without sleep, so at times I can adjust to such situations. But I make sure that once work is completed, I get sufficient sleep.
