How many hours do you sleep? why?

I usually go to bed between 23:30 pm and 24:30 pm. Though my working time is 9:00 am, I really felt my sleeping time isn't enough,it's 7 hours or 8 hours.What is reason of my late sleep? sometimes, I addicted to watch the teleplay,can't stop to watch the following story, even want to watch the end. Sometimes I played game of my computer, forget and disregard it is so late.I really want to change my habit to get a good sleep, however, I didn't.It is said that 23:00pm is the best time to sleep, it will be better for people health. My question here is that how many hours do you sleep? why?

8 hours is perfect time for sleep. I feel that 6 does the trick for me but if i can get 8 on the weekends its great. Especially if your active and exersise regularly, adiquate sleep is seriously important. energy and nutrition all can come back to your sleep quality.

I concur.It is put scientifically that 8 hours for sleep is perfect,then again,sleeping time differs from person to person.As to me,i usually go to bed at 11:30PM or so and get up around 6:00AM(less than 8 hours).Yeah,sufficient sleep makes one energetic so that one can throw into work on the next day.Sleeping quality is much more important than sleeping time.Recently,i have formed a habit of taking a nap after lunch,since i only slept about 6 hours at night(i felt sleepy at noon)If i do not have a nap after lunch i will not stay awake in afternoon.Here is a little tip,taking a nap at noon is a better way to keep your body system in good condition,then do some exercise every day to keep fit,above all ,have good mood every day!

Hi keeponit, you got a good habit for your taking a nap after lunch. It is said take a nap is most important for our health. For me, it's only 1 hour including lunch time,so 30 minutes left every noon, however I must take a nap at noon, which is my habit, if some day I didn't get a good nap at noon, I will feel very tired at afternoon, because it's 5 hours working time at afternoon. so long time. I really hope our factory can change noon time, however it seems impossible.

I usually go to bed at the same time - 23:30PM and 24:30PM. And I wake up at 06:30AM. Im feeling the same what bettydeng5. When I come from the school Im really tired and I would like to sleep like 4 more hours.
Why do I sleep so little? Reasons; Computer, Hanging out with friends and studying.

Hi friend, I felt this problem, I am not energetic when working at day, and with full energetic at night,especially type and commuciate with mylotter friends here,easily excited. lol.For me, I only have enough my own time at night, no one no boss trouble me.How about you?

i use to sleep around 8hours a day. I usually go to bed at 11.30pm and wake up at 7 am.
Me too wish to change this habit of sleeping long. But its not possible immediately.we can change this habit only gradually. Try to wake up an half an hour before that usual time. Practice it for a 10 days and then again wake up at a half an hour, for next 10 days. So we can gradually reduce the time for sleep. Good Day.

Hi friend,it's not much hours for you, it's around 7.5 hours.Though it looks enough. However if you feel you are full of energy, you can try to change your habit to get up earlier, and you can use 1 hour do other things. Happy day!

well its on average of 8-10 hours a day but it usually depends if im tired and such. but i also tried not sleeping for a couple of days because of work.

Hi.. I am the type of person who cannot tolerate lack of sleep.. My body will complain if i don't get enough sleep at night.., so I make sure I get 6-8 hours of sleep.., I will sleep really early and start my next day very early too.=)

yeah,when I didn't get 7 hours or 8 hours,I didn't have energy to work, and always yawning. When at the weekend, especially at saturday,I slept late, it's 24:00 pm to go to bed, and got up at 8:30am.We should have a good habit for our daily life,which most important.Happy day!

i sleep in between 7-9 hours regularly except for one of days were it is more than 9 or less than 7. my time to bed is almost 1 in the night, due to routine work and then waching TV and stuff, and then stting on my laptop, surfing or playing, then family talk...all these lead to a delayed sleep time...i know that this is a bad habit but can't help it as of now...i'm waiting for that day when my time changes and i'm sure that the day wuld come soon..

I think i sleep around 8 hours daily. Which is enough :p
Anyway, sometimes, i do stay awake until 2am just to online etc....
However, i do think that sleeping is important and don't spend too much time in front of computer, instead, turn off your computer and have some rest when you feel too tired.

It's very good for you have slept 8 hours daily,it will be better for your health.People need enough sleeping, then will be full of energy to do everything. I hope I can try my best to change my bad habit. Happy day!

uhm, i don't know . Sometimes i have insomnia. But usually , i sleep at about 23h30 pm, if i have to go to school on the next day , i have to wake upa at 5h45 am . It's really tired. But if i don't have to go to school or when i on summer vacation, i wake up at 9h30 am , maybe a little late , 10 am. Is it late ? :) . But if i wake up at 9h30 or 10 am , i still feel very sleepy , tire, maybe alittle headache. I wake up because my father wake me up , i don't want to wake up, i jusst wnat to sleep

Hi ellechoi, it's earlier to go to school.When I went to school, I got up at 6:30am, because I should went to school on foot. For your vacation, it's late to get up at 9:30 or 10:00 am.Sometimes, if we sleep more than 8 hours, we will feel very tired.So I think 8 hours is enough. Do you think so?
