I'm a member of microworkers. I have noticed that employers pay cash just to digg an article. Does anyone know why they do so? Do they get paid for every digg their article get? If yes how much do they get paid?

They don't get paid for their article being digged, but in the long run the more an article is being digged the more traffic they will have to their article.
In internet affiliate Marketing the more targeted traffic= the more conversion which = more money!:P

Oh, I meant Digg helps the article rank higher in search engines so that the article gets found more easily. Sorry.

I too have seen this alot...not only in microworkers but in other similar sites...I honestly don't know why they do this & the only reason I can put this down to is maybe they are just trying to get more traffic to their websites.
