I don't know if you have any memorable scenes from the news but for me, definitely. I believe everybody has seen it and have remembered it forever. It is the scene whereby someone threw two of his shoes at former USA President Mr George W. Bush. Oh my, recalling it, the person was so daring! At the same time, the way Mr Bush blocked the shoes looked cool, LOL. How about you guys? Do you have any memorable moments while watching news?

it would have to be the 9/11 attacks as i was in college and i happened to be changing classes and walking through the snack area where there also happened to be a tv. i noticed they were filming live when the first plane had already hit one of the twin towers. i paused like everyone else in the room watching. not too long afterward i saw the second plane slam into the other tower. i was stunned and i knew there was going to be retaliation after that happened.

I think I have seen that before but, I don't exactly remember to what kind of event was it about or what was that president talking about during that event. Yeah, he was really good in anticipating a shoe being thrown at him at that time.
For me, the ones that I usually recall reporters making mistakes while they do their report. Like they were not aware that the camera was already on while they were just doing their own business and be caught off guard on the spot. Makes me laugh most of the time.

The ones I awlays remember the most are the ones where kids go missing. Those are always the hardest to take and I have to be sure to watch the news after that to see if they were found and if they are OK. The news moment I remember the most was when they were chasing OJ Simpson in his white vehicle to arrest him for the murders of his ex-wife and a man named Ron Goldman.

Well an obvious one would be the news coverage the day that 9/11 happened. It was rather surreal. Up to that point, I really have seen nothing like that before in my life. The footage of the attack, was absolutely horrifying and something that was difficult to comprehend. In fact, it is still difficult to comprehend to this day. For every day that I live, I will never forgive what happened.
A less historically significant but still significant to me event is footage of a plane crash that was only a ways from my house. It was in a corn field and had the plane went down a ways away, it could have dropped on my house. It was horrifying to see footage of something like that, the wreckage, in a field that I walked by pretty much every day in my life on the way to school.

Yeah I've seen that too.. and that was such a disrespectful behavior..in public!!! But I think I have a more devastating scene in my head..The hostage taking in my country by an ex-police officer who took the Chinese tourists as a hostage,.. It was such a shameful memory for my country,.=(

Well, I did not see that scene but I have definitely seen a scene which is similar to that. It was great and it happened in India. Someone threw a shoe on Mr. P. Chidambaram and it was so good to see him tackle that shoe. He literally fell on the ground trying to dodge that shoe.

Someone did that? Oh I didn't know. Seems like when it first happened, people began mimicking the action. It also happened to the Chinese Premier.
