Learning from Tone A Day: Should you get your responses tone checked?

I'm thinking of getting my responses tone checked to get a sense of the emotions I create in my readers. After rating so many words at ToneADay, I'm starting to think that I should use phrases like "good morning sunshine" more often. It makes sense to use happy or positive words more often than negative ones. Anyway, good morning everyone! How about you? Have you been using happy words lately?

I like happy words, too. They are so uplifting. But trying to use them consciously all the time takes a lot of skill and practice. It will take many tone checks before I get the hang of it.

Yup. I find myself choosing words consciously when composing a comment. I'm constantly running my vocabulary in my head so I can choose the perfect words.
