Dravid is out of the one day team for no reason i guess. He was performing good till the day they dropped him from the side.. and they are still struggling to find permanent batsman for one down position. Dravid was regular and best no.3 batsman we ever had and he still playing test cricket .. so there is no reason why he should be left outside.. as there is no player in the side which one can say performing better coming at one down then what Dravid did..

Ya,I really want him to see in the WC.
In his last ODI he was playing with a good strike rate which is suitable for ODI.
He should be included in the team

I think Dravid himself has at various times expressed that his body takes longer to recover from ODIs at this stage. So I think in a manner of speaking he himself is interested in extending his test career by playing lesser ODIs. I also feel that it would be a back step for India to bring back Dravid in the side at this stage.
Cheers!

yes he should be in the squad for world cup as the middle order is struggling.he is more experienced than these young boys and can handle pressure where as these youngsters panic when 1-2 wickets fall in quick succession.he is really a WALL and mr.DEPENDABLE.one is not about smacking balls everywhere.you have to preserve wickets, maintain runrate and then during the last 10 overs have to go for slog.and i think dravid is best in the business.

Dravid has been great not only in test but also in ODI's he has a good winning percentage as captain and as a player was really very dedicated...off late he has been sticking to the longer version and has been avoided in the shorter version...though he is still good in ODI, the policy of BCCI would not permit him to be picked up (Tendulkar being an exception)...Dravid has the potential in him and needs to be picked at least for the WC.

Dear vipinl I agree with you dropping Rahul Drawid was a big mistake at that time. It was just the fancy belief of the selectors that a player above certain age can not not play in the ODI,thank God they made exception in case of Sachin. I would not, however, agree to your suggestion that he should be included in the world cup squad it would equally be great mistake. Rahul Dravid is my favourite player but if you had noticed in the just concluded Sri Lanka series, the age has started affecting his game otherwise you would never have seen Rahul Dravid getting out to a strait ball attempting to flick to leg side.
