A friend of ours was feeling so badly that his wife took him to the hospital, he needed to see his heart doctor, but was told that his doctor would not be available until a week from then. he said he didn't feel badly enough to see a strange Doctor so they were leaving the hospital when his Doctor walks in the door. This Doctor took time to stop and say hello, during that time he noticed that our friend was having trouble speaking and asked him what was wrong, the man told him that he didn't feel good so the Doctor told him to turn around and go back in the hospital. It turns out our Friend had a small heart attack. Now on the face of this is doesn't sound so special, but how many of you know your Doctor well enough that he will stop to chat, and just the fact that the Doctor was coming in as they were leaving is special. Is this just luck, a miracle, or work of his angel? Who knows but I for one am very glad it happened. Blessings

Your friend is very lucky that this happened to him. When my father was alive he had a very good relationship with his doctors due to the fact that he was an assistant hospital administrator at the Federal Medical Center (read Federal Prison for inmates that had serious medical problems) and he had a lot of communication with doctors that saw the inmates. Because of this, he only chose the best in doctors and had a relationship with them. This should have been enough to have saved his life when he had his massive heart attack, but he went into full cardiac arrest in the car on the way to the hospital and it took the ER staff 15 minutes to get to him because he didn't arrive in an ambulance. Go figure.

That's the way I want to go, fast. I feel with our friend's case it just wasn't his time, he still has more to do in this life.

Luck, miracle, the universe taking care of its own, whatever, how very fortunate for him that he ran into his doctor that way!

He must thank his lucky star to be able to meet his doctor. Being a Christian I believe in miracles and the work of God. I can only conclude that God has a hand to what happened to your friend meeting his doctor at the most critical time. Praise the Lord.

This is the perfect example of the miracles that can happen in our lives every day. It is important to have one doctor that we know well although it is not always possible. I am so glad your friend ran into his own doctor, what a blessing! Had he not decided not to see another medico he would not have met the right person to help him. I am amazed when things like that happen…

its the faith, and the will that something will happen...this is very important on everyone of if we have the strong will and faith i think there is no one that can stop us in achieving our goals in life, all we have to do is work on it pray and believe that everything is possible.

I have a doctor who will stop to chat, and remembers everything about every one of my family members who has ever lived with me temporarily and seen him. As for the doctor walking in as he left, it is a miracle, or a blessing and there is a reason he was there when he was.

Someone was on his side that day! Just imagine if he would of let it go til he could of gotten an appointment?!?!?! He may not be here. I do have a Dr like that. She rocks when it comes to the personal touch! I had visited her for my annual exam right after stopping off at my Mom's grave. Mom's grave was along the way and it's hard to get there between traffic and life in general. So my bp was up because of being a lil upset over my visit prior to seeing her. She told me about her Dad and how she felt about things when he passed. She also let me stop to see her briefly when I came in for a ped appt when my son was a week old. As the nurse in the hossy almost missed some of my c-sect staples if hubby hadn't been watching and I had asked if she could double check because if hubby wasn't there they would of missed them and I was still in so much pain as it was from the c-sect. So she looked me over w/o an appt :0)

I think, it could have been the strong will of this friend of yours, who actually had a faith in himself to live. The strangest thing in the life always comes in the form of surprise. But we tend to put it to luck, destiny. If you read the book on the power of subconscious mind, you will find that there are miracles that actually has happened to people, which we can't even think about. Therefore, if this friend of yours was able to meet the doctor, then it was his imagination and his will to be better and healthy. But of course you can always take it as a blessing from the god.
