SBY tell about the plan to move capital of Indonesia

agreed with the president. cz if we see at USA, Japan.. both has been move their capita. fron New York to Washington, and from kyoto to tokyo. brazil too. from Rio de janeiro to brazilia. why? because in Indonesia reason of the city built is none. for example, Jakarta for capital city and government city, Bandung is for carnival town, and other town is for the entertainment town, etc. and now, Jakarta is have too much population the effect of mixed up of the town's reason. jakarta now is the capital, entertainment, government, industrial, etc. jakarta is too much to hold all of them. so if the relocation is materialized, I'll be very glad. I thing the capital is MUST at the outer java island. because java island is too crowded now. if the government want the population be spread evently, so the capital must be in Borneo island. :)

it is not easy to move the capital. i agree to what SBY said. it is time to leave Jakarta

More than 10 years ago, I was in Jakarta for a business trip. And even then I already thought the city was really crowded with all the highways and flyovers that intersected the city. I didn't see the speech of your president, but I think it's a good idea to move the capital. His status in history may even be cemented with this move.

i agree with our president plan, and i recommended to move our capital outside java island such as sumatera, kalimantan, sulawesi or irian jaya island

hai adhy...you are dilligent to tell us about our country condition...i think the problem of indonesia, one of them about our capital. ya, now jakarta is now making problems. why? because many people concentrate only to jakarta...only go to jakarta..money too..to much money and it`s only in jakarta.. i think the idea to move our capital is must be done....dont only dream...waiting for the plan to be done...two thumbs for everything can move our capital

I think he's serious. He said that Jakarta was so crowded and it didn't suit as capital of Indonesia. And I heard some people said that actually a long time ago government wants to have the country capital in Borneo. I don't really think it's a bad idea since Borneo is in the middle of Indonesia.

I heard about the speech that the capital of Indonesia will be move and yes it is crawded nowdays in Jakarta, but from my opinion it still only an opinion, because I didn't look they going to realised that. If that so, I think I agree to move the capital of Indonesia as long as it move out side Java Island.
