my uncle has stopped eating meat, bread etc. He claims they contain harmful substances. Instead, he eats fruits and vegetables. I want to know if he is right

I stopped eating meat and seafood about 8 years ago and I find that my health has improved. I do not fall sick easily and feels generally well and energetic.
For your uncle, since he just started out, it would be good for him to monitor himself for a while, pay close attention and see how his body is adjusting.
I have nothing against bread though, I do take a lot of it. As for meat containing harmful substances, what motivated me to stop my intake was because animals know it when they are about to be killed, they will get into a panic and there's a lot of pain, so they will release toxin into their blood and flesh, so when we eat them, the toxin goes into our bodies as well.

i can't say if he's right or not. But I really prefer a meatless diet. However, some meat is not as harmful. For instance fish can be purchased that are not farmed but caught from the ocean. those contain less harmful ingredients. Chicken is better than red meat too. As long as he eats eggs or beans or other sources of protien he'll be fine. Actually he'll feel a lot better too!

meat is not good for some patients like hepatitis c but normal person should use meat 1 time in a week.but vegetable and fruits are very useful for health. don't worry for your uncle if he not use meat because vegetable are better then meat he should eat the meat of fish.
