Do You Believe That Money Is The Root of Evil?

Well, as for me I think it is not money, but the LOVE OF MONEY is the root of evil. It is the love of it that makes people evil, it is not money itself. It is just like any other thing that if it falls in the wrong hands, it can create a lot of damage. Using and spending money reflects and reveals the character of a person. Like for instance, real wealthy people do not flaunt their being rich, they live simple and comfortable lives. On the other hand, there are those who flaunt and announce to the whole world that they are rich and there are those who result to corruption because of money.
How about you, what's your opinion on this?

As what it is written in the bible that money is the root of all evil yes i do believe in this coz some people they will make money as their god they will worship money.They will be unhappy if no money at all. I think it boils down to your attitude on how you look and see things out. I do agree that as long as we are in this world we sure do need money but we will not let money take control of us.

I believe that what is said in the bible is true, except it is "The Love of money is the root of all evil"... the love part is greed and Idolatry. Tons of money in the right hands could and does bring a world of good, ... as long as greed and idolatry are not allowed to take hold. Once that happens then the instrument becomes evil.

Greed for money is the root of all evil. like the useless politicians in the world. they would cheat and kill even their own families.

Money is a tool or a medium use to get something we need and something we want, right? Actually, Money is for basic purposes...I don't believed that money itself is the root of evil but the one who use the money out for something to satisfy such earthly things.

great power comes great responsibility, and so as great money requires responsibility... money is important but it is not everything. it pays for things that makes you happy but without it, one can still be happy. it can be so that i want to have money, i love money and i am responsible of how i use it and for what i use it.. you are right, if it falls on the wrong hands, on the greedy person's hands, money is misuse which could eventually lead to corruption..
