Manytimes parents scold children for eating choclates. I don't find it that harmful. As for as adults are concerned, they should check with how much they are eating, as it may result in weight gain and higher sugar levels.

As long as there are no harmful health conditions such as diabetes chocolates is use for alternative healing treatments. I have tested this fact since when I have colds I eat chocolates when my saliva is color white(Yin Yang Hong principle). I eat the pure chocolate kind without other additives such as nuts or raisins. For those who have tooth decay a little of this can sweep away sweet tooth tendencies. The key is eating in moderation. For others too much can cause weight gain or pimple break outs( for those who have sensitivities on some of chocolate ingredients). It is good to drink hot chocolate when the days are cold. I admit I am a chocolate lover.

hello kartiknaiduk..for me, eating chocolate makes no harm..instead,they are healthy if the chocolate is 70% dark chocolate..Eating 70% dark chocolate is good for health.but other parents do not know what is chocolate really are..they are good for our immune system..but eating a chocolate that is not dark,it's not good when you always eat it..it has more sugar, more sugar is not good to health.and also that chocolate is full of fat,it's not good too..so I prefer to eat 7% dark chocolate.

They are not harmful... I love CHOCOLATES! But they should be avoided in children. It makes them hyper! I read in an article that children who are diagnosed to have ADHD (attention deficit disorder) should cut chocolate by 90% and no more than a single piece, once a week! That's harsh! But anyways, if it is for the good of them then we as adults should be responsible in not letting them eat chocolates. They should instead give it to us!

Parents say that to their kids, because when little kids have to much sugar they become hyperactive and that's not good for the little ones. There are variety of chocolates for every need.

Dear friend, I feel that choclates are not much harmful provided we control it. Moreover it is know having anything too much is harmful if one get addicted to it. I feel if one have chocolated according to a normal way I feel it would be better.

Too much of a good thing is bad. However, I have a hard time controlling myself when it comes to eating chocolates! Some people, like my uncle, have to avoid eating chocolates because they can make migraine worse. I pity them because chocolates are so delicious! I don't know anyone who hates chocolates.

Hello kartik, Eating chocolate isn't harmful till you start eating too much of them. Yes they have a lot sugar and also children need to brush their properly each day. Chocolates are notorious for our teeth as well.

Any food item consumed in limit is not harmful, but parents do restrict children from eating chocolates mainly because they are much addicted to chocolates easily and there by eat a lot, which obviously spoils their teeth, a child doesn't know how well to brush his/her teeth too at that stage. to be on the safe side, parents do this i suppose.

For me, chocolates is not harmful. It is just on how many you eat! More chocolates is a no no though.
