Is it childish if we play games or have fun with toys?

Hello folks,
I am sick and tired hearing some comments regarding what I am doing.
If I play video games, someone will call me childish and ask me to stop so that I can become a real adult.
I also love collecting lightsaber replicas (beam sword from Star Wars series, if you don't know just beg Google to teach you) and play along with it. But then again, someone will smirk at me and call me childish.
Oh, and once again! That word will be applied to me whenever I watch cartoon or animated movies!
Don't they know that video games has become on of the biggest industries in the world? Don't they realize that by collecting lightsaber replicas and practice movement with that I can become a cool coreographer? And, don't they have sense of humor enjoying cartoon or animated movies even though they have become 100 years old?
Let me know your opinion...

You have a young heart. You should be happy! I am 44 years old and still watch cartoons every once in a while. I love to play games.
In your case, you have something you like to do. You are active in Life. People that call you childish are missing out in life. They probably feel very old inside.
I am still childish, and I love it! I have a young heart and that makes me look better than other women my age, not because I am beautiful but because I have a young aura. I feel young, that is the way it should be. People I don't even know comment me, that I look good. Not beautiful, like some women. I look good because of the inside. And that counts the most.
My father even called me childish last month. Because I still play my guitar and write music. He told me to grow up and see reality. When I am going to do that, what have I got to live for? What is reality? I just want to feel good and be happy for the time I am here.
Cheers to the young at heart!

Wonderful! Now I've got wsupporter which is a lovely lady! Thank you very much!
Indeed. Whenever we feel young then the aura will follow, and people will see us that way. Watching cartoon and smile a lot are things that will keep us young.

Exactly the way I see it. I am happy this way, I don't want to be like all the other so called adults. Sure I can be serious when I have too. But, life is suppose to be fun too. Even the words sound good:"Young at Heart."
Thanks for the BR! Keep smiling! :)))

Yeah, who knows? You can become a jedi someday. Keep on playing those toys you have. Don't mind those people stopping you from doing so. They're just jealous of you because you can play and they don't.

Hahaha, that person is, in fact, my own mom! She was here some minutes ago so that was why I typed "someone" instead of "my mom."
Yes, absolutely! I believe I do not bother other people, so that's okay.
Oh, if you want to see my Jedi action just take a look at my YouTube page here:

Nope i am 19 myself and i still eat small chocolates, play games like hangman, toy trains with a few friends of mine who are like me only. I would spend a lot of time with these toys as they bring back my sweet memories all the day long and also they would be somewhat hard to leave because you know what they say.
OLD HABITS DIE HARD!
Cheers!

Hmmm, you bring up a nice point! Memories...
You've got that at your side, and for me, I've got Nintendo Entertainment System. That game console always brings back unforgetable childish memory of mine.
PS: I love your style!

Those who call you childish are not yet mature enough to handle other people's interests. In short, keep enjoying what you enjoy to do. Screw the rest.

Well, in fact, I believe that's because they do not understand how fun it is to play games or watch cartoons.
People will enjoy what they understand the most.
Thanks for dropping by.
