When did you create your first email id? Do you still use it?

I think I first had mine around 1999 or 2000 too. It was when my family first got AOL. I don't use it anymore of course but only because AOL was so slow, my family switched to cable as soon as we could. If it weren't for that I'd probably still use it. I still use my yahoo email that I made in freshman year 7 years ago.

Mine was just after 2000. I got an E-Mail of Microsoft a few years back that said I was one of their oldest users and I actually got my account upgraded to the pay service for free because of this. I guess, with so many people changing e-mails it's hard to keep and I have read tips about opening new accounts but my hotmail account as been around for what seems like forever and it receives less spam than my gmail account does.

i create my first email when iam in college, 1999 since 1999 untill now, i always use my main email in yahoo, even sometimes i create another email for another or special function

M first e-mail id is of Yahoo. I don't remember the exact year. It may be 2001 or 2002. Later I have created many but I still use the first ID for personal contacts.

I had created my first email id in 2000 on rediffmail. I was not very well equipped with the computer and internet knowledge so forgot the password of my first email account hence did not use after creating it. I am still using my second email id created on Rediffmail. Earlier it was only rediffmail, then Yahoo, MSN and now gmail is the hot one.

I have my 1st email id very long time ago, and I can't really remember it was created since when. And until today I am still using it. I do not like to change my email id because many of my friends are using it to contact me. It is already like a part of me and will never be change...

Back in 1995, we went online with AOL and I got my first email address. At that time, they assigned ids, we didn't have a choice. I don't remember what mine was because I don't think I ever used it! I didn't know anybody online to email. Then we went to Prodigy and then to... I can't remember the name of the other one, but it was one of the "big three" providers at the time. I used email then to some extent, but when I really chose my email id, I finally got onto the "real internet" through a local provider. I've used a variation of the same ever since, but not the exact one.

I created my first mail id in 2006 and I am still using it , after that I have created 3 more mail id with different providers.

Hello venka, the first email add that i used was back in 2003, and i still used for time to time. but not all the time since i don't chat around that much with a few people.i have two other ID's but i haven't been using them for quite a long time too since i got to know mylot and facebook. probably when time comes, i'd use it again.

I created my first e-mail id in 2000 when I bought my first computer. I still use it as my primary e-mail and check e-mails there everyday. I created it by my name. I use my other e-mails rarely.

I first created my email id in the year 1998-99. That time, it was HOTMAIL and very popular. Those days, it was only dial up connection, and in my office i created it. later, I opened one more in Yahoo. Then at gmail, when it was given only on invitation by exisiting gmail members. One of my friend's daughter sent me an invite. Presently I am having my SECOND email id at yahoo and the ones I created in gmail. All are active, except the one at hotmail.

I created my very first email id around 2006. I started using the internet in 2001 but I don't have any idea about that email thing and since I was a high school student back then email address wasn't really important to me. All I do during those days are copying song lyrics from sites, searching for playstation or pc game cheats, downloading photos, etc. just later when I was in college that I tried creating an email id since it's important specially in communicating with old friends.

Yes still I am using my old account but only one site and in other site I am using another email address.

i've already used my email since 10yrs ago and still using it now as a frequent usage.i do have yahoo last time but then i guess the account is not active anymore coz i very seldom used it.recently i jus opened new account at gmail.

I created my frist e-mail account in august of 2001. I still use it and it is my primaary e-mail account. I have one other seconday e-mail and I use it as an alturitive. I was only able to check it onece every few days becase I could only log on in public. but now i can do it everyday and check it everyday.

It came with my Internet service provider, free of charge. It was years and years ago. It was a really awful dial up Internet service provider, that disconnected on a regular basis and sometimes took twenty minutes to connect to the Internet. Needless to say, I switched to a cable Internet provider very quick. That e-mail account is long gone and I think that ISP is long out of business. I wonder why. The oldest e-mail I still use is an account on Yahoo, that is for personal use. I think I created it in about 2002 or 2003, sometime in there. It does seem like ages ago. Still, I have several e-mail addresses, but the one on Yahoo is the one that I have been using the longest as far as I can remember. But I could be a bit off of the mark.

I created my first email id in 1997 while i was doing my ug degree, still i am using it as a main email id. I do not remember the month exactly I trust it very much. I have also created other email ids which i use it rarely.

Like some of these myLotters, I can't remember the exact year either. I do know that it was after 1996 and before 1998 when I registerd for Hotmail on a library computer.

I created my first email back in 2002, I was 14 back then, but my step father was teaching me a good deal on how to work with computers on the internet (he was a software engineer). Apparently, I don't use it anymore as I wanted a new name for it.
