Just for laughs. I just had my semi-major general cleaning today since it's my day off. So I cleaned my mini-kitchen. And was able to find some dead roach just lying there. I was so furious because in every house, I know, they will always be present. Like EVERYWHERE!
And then I just murmured that if cockroach will be placed to endangered species then every household will have less worries when it comes to germs.
Then I came to log in my twitter. I have to laugh because this guy name RameshRivats wants to nominate mosquitoes as National Insect.
His exact tweet says:
I propose that we make mosquitoes our National Insect. Then the government will try to protect them and they'll become extinct.
One of the top tweets today.
What about you, guys? I am sure you have something to nominate too. LOL.
Happy mylotting!

haha.. I don't think this is true. Some people just want to fool others and try to give out jokes like this. Would you believe it? =p

We should have a Protected Shelter for mosquitoes where they have lifetime supply of bottled purified blood, a nice jacuzzi for the larvae, and of course, insect repellent lotions just to make sure they don't bite one another!

Cool merchandise, T.U. We should pair up and put up that kind of business. Maybe think of making something like, Mosquito extract soap?

You make it tough to decide since I recently moved from Florida. You see, there our roaches are called Palmetto Bugs. Not only are they resistant to be stepped on or squashed with a ten-pound brick, we, in Florida, used them occasionally as airplanes when our flights got too crowded. So, they DID sometimes serve a purpose.
As for mosquitoes, I discovered that the granddaddy sized ones in the Sunshine State, if tied to a ceiling fixture, can act as a ceiling fan if necessary and that saves on electricity, sometimes cutting costs by a third!
The toughies to find a reasonable use for are the black scorpions, unless you like really unique designs sewn to your clothing. Unfortunately, if the pinchers and that nasty little tail are not sufficiently locked into place, that's one design with a kick!
Choosing between the three, I suppose, I'd go with the scorpion. He really has a viscious temper and to fast for you to catch and sew on a second time. Endanger him, Please!

Wow. I never thought your raoches there are strong as tanks and thank you for the infos you gave. I am quite surprised.
Yeah, scorpions are as deadly as ever. Like if they got you with their tail... You only have minutes to live in this world. Thanks for the response, maggie. I really appreciate it. :D

Hi! I hate cockroach and how i wish they will be completely eliminated in this world. Seriously, they cannot become endangered because they reproduce fast. They are even hard to kill. One time i found a cockroach while i was watching TV crawling on the floor and i stepped on it hard to kill it. I thought i was able to kill the insect so I went out looking for a dust pan and when i came back the insect was gone. Well, i heard that cockroaches are the most useless insect ever created in this world.
I would nominate the ants to become the National Insect. We can learn good values from ants like saving for the future, values on unity and cooperation and other respect.

I'm not too sure about if the cochroach was endangered that the household germs can be much less, because there are heaps of other vermin around that are even worse than cochroaches. Some examples are flys, spiders, rats, mice, possums and moths etc. When you put the cochroach germs into it it accounts for very little. Mosquitos can be harmful and have killed roughly a third of the world population since the beginning with maleria. Cochroaches are the least of our problems.

Hi, nobbsy. Thanks for the info. It's just that it's frustrating when it comes to cockroaches sometimes because even if you kill one of them, three will come back more. LOL... Mosquitoes, by far, are more dangerous than cockroach. a lot of our fellow filipinos here, children mostly, are suffering from dengue. It's really scary.

That RameshRivats is insane. lol. Why would he want the mosquitoes to be protected by the government? They are the number one carrier of deadly diseases. They should be the first one to be destroyed on earth. I am really annoyed at mosquitoes because here in the Philippines Dengue is so prevalent. There's no stopping them and they are getting to my nerves already. I, myself are becoming paranoid every time my son catches fever, I really fear it's Dengue. They should be DESTROYED!!!

LOL. Don't panic, julia. He only means it out of humor. We all know mosquitoes are carriers of deadly Dengue disease and I am sure Ramesh is also particular with that information. So, no worries. :D

well on a serious note i would say the most endangered species on earth is REAL HUMANS, there are very less humans left on the earth and soon they will also disappear. Humans was a species that cared for the nature and also protected the wildlife, but in the present age the human species has evolved to a species that is destroying the environment. And i dont call this species as HUMAN, so I think the real endangered species on earth is the HUMANS.
Hope you got my point.....
Thanks
Have a nice day....

they'll never be endangered, they can survive a nuclear explosion/war or something.
i also don't understand why mosquitoes have to be a national insect, like cockroaches they multiply faster than humans and there's a lot of species of them.
well, for me, cockroaches should be killed. if we want lesser vectors for germs and stuff.

Oh I really have to nominate the ants and lizards… OMG I see so many of them in my house right now. You just cant keep anything containing food anywhere for sometime without the ants getting a smell of it and once you see that red line, there’s nothing you can really do about it.
Lizards are otherwise good (they devour roaches – my worst nightmare bug) but I just hate it when they poo on anything and I have to clean it…the poo smells horrible (no matter how much I wash my hand, it still smells) and everytime I clean it, I feel like puking.

Hi, sudip. How are you.
You sure have something with the ants and lizards. True that they can be really a frustration most especially when you just place a food in the table and the next minute - there they are with an attack. LOL.
As for lizards. I have some, too, in my place. And yes, they just poo everyhwere. I annoys me sometimes that they poo on my things and utensils and I have to wash it twice just to make sure. LOL. /Their poo really smells bad.

LOL. It frustrates me sometimes how they multiply that fast. Ahaha. They just crawl and crawl like they don't care (oh, well. They don't care at all).
Bear with my foolishness. Just a thought though. If only they can be an extinct.
Good day to you my friend.

This is interesting!! I know some members would have voted houseflies, and therefore i'm going for ANTS! I mean all kind of ANTS! They are very irritating, and their colony seems to add on more. When i happen to kill one tiny ant, more than double of that will appear again! Thus it turns out, the more i kill, the more they are coming!
I can't stand the sight of them, even there's one. BEcause when they managed to find food, in just a matter of minutes, all their friends, relatives, or whatever will be joining it for the little buffet on offer!!
I HATE ANTS

You are just like Sudip ,my friend. I think houseflies will come as a winner if you live in Australia. According to my cousin, there are a LOT of flies in their.
Ants are very united. I believe the motto "United we stand, divided we fall" came from them.
