Archos Tablet

Has anyone had anything to do with the Archos Tablet that is amn alyernative to the i pad. I don't think that it has been released yet in the Uk but has in the US ( I think!!)

My son in law has mentioned this for my son as he said that they are about half the price of i pads - I'd be very interested to know just what they are like.
