Laundry is done every day at my house, you would think there were 30 people in this household, not just three.
I don't know where all this laundry comes from but I suspect my son of taking things out of the wardrobe and throwing it on the floor without putting it on, then it ends up in the hamper. I always seem to be washing and folding the same things but haven't noticed him wearing them for ages.

I usually do a load of laundry on Thursday and the rest on Saturday morning, as soon as I wake up. I like to get it over with.

ugh, I do mine probably about 2 to 3 times a week and it is ALWAYS piling up, I have a family of 4 so it seems like it never ever ends.
It will take me a whole day just to do probably 1/2 to 3/4 worth of the laundry...it sucks!

we do laundry once to twice a week depends on the amount of clothes we change into and sometimes my hubby will do his workclothes and nothing else so i do the towels and my clothing another day.

I do laundry almost every day. If I did it once a week, it would take a whole day!

My other half & me do our laundry every once or twice a week. Usually it turns out being once a week due to there being so much going on throughout the week itself so it makes it kind of difficult to do it more than that. But there has been a few times in which we have done it twice in one week. Especially if we need some of the clothing that is dirty then we will get it done a lot faster than usual.
We also don't do our laundry at home since we live with someone else & all they do is do laundry on a regular basis. In which doesn't help us to save on water/power. So the way we try to save on water & power is by taking our clothing to a laundry mat. We like doing this as then we are able to fit all of our clothes in to a washer. Instead of having to do more than one wash which usually ends up happening when we do our clothing at home. So I think taking our clothing to a laundry mat is much more beneficial for us compared to doing our own clothes at home.
I find the only downfall about doing our clothing at a laundry mat would have to be.. When we put our clothing in the dryer at the laundry mat. Sometimes we have had instances where we have pulled out some of our clothing out of the dryer.. And a large majority of the clothing that was in the dryer didn't end up getting dried. So we usually have to fork out a little more money than usual just so the clothing will be completely dried.
I can only imagine what our laundry would be like if we had children as of right now. As I know we would have to do laundry much more often then compared to how we are doing it now. I know eventually though we will end up having children somewhere down the road so I suppose that is when our laundry will increase a tad bit more.
But yeah we usually do indeed do our laundry once a week. Sometimes twice. But it makes it difficult to do it more than once a week due to the fact that usually my other half is working & I am busy with things around the house so it makes it extremely difficult to be able to do this.
I know that there has been times where we needed towels, as well as wash cloths so we had to just take our towels to the laundry mat quickly. Just so we would have fresh, yet clean towels to use for after we bathe. But also towels & wash cloths so that we could both wash, as well as dry our dishes.
In conclusion.. At the current time we would love to do laundry a little more often then we do.. As we have found that the bag we use our laundry for is getting to over-filled as of right now.. And it is causing us to many problems. I guess what we need to learn to do is somehow come up with a better plan to do our laundry so that our bag of laundry doesn't keep overfilling. And so we will be able to do our laundry much more often then once a week! . .
