I've been catching a very important deadline and because of it, I didn't have that much sleep for the past week. I've had just about three or four hours of sleep. Now, my work's done and though I slept most of the time these past 24 hours, I still feel like a zombie. I feel lethargic and a bit dizzy. I feel like slumping on my desk. Augh!!! What shall I do? What can I do to recover fast?

I think that you could get some healthy food to eat like nuts and seeds. I like to eat Brazil nuts and walnuts because they are so good for me. It is wise to eat iron rich food. I know what you mean about feeling like a zombie. My 14 month of old daughter has not been sleeping much a night. She cries a lot and I have to keep going to her in order to try to settle her. I know that she is teething at the moment. I feel tired by the afternoon. I know that drinking lots of water helps to keep me awake. Good luck with recovering.

I had this happen to me this past summer when my husband and I were in the process of moving. We stayed up almost an entire night trying to get our apartment cleaned and finishing the packing process. The next 2 days we felt like complete crap. The only thing that really seemed to help us was drinking lots of gatorade and water and getting as much sleep as we possibly could. Unfortunately it did take a few days for us to get back to feeling somewhat normal. I think no matter what you do your body will need few days of "recovery."
