Hi,
The Indian teams could win this tournament if they play well. All the three teams have bright chances of winning the trophy.Dhoni,Sachin and Kumble are great skippers and they will try to give their best.I am also a fan of Chennai Super Kings.I would like them to see winning all the matches. It would be a great exciting when CSK take on their first encounter. There are so many key players in the CSK team.Haydos and Hussey are favorites for the CSK team. The bowlers would be strong headed by Bollinger.Dhoni might try his new tricks and hope their team wins the trophy. The other two teams have also some advantages. For Mumbai Sachin is their main plus point.Pollard could finish the game in a thrilling way.For Bangalore Kallis is the main plus point .Uttappa needs to give his best for a spot in Indian team's squad. The bowling of the Bangalore team is dominant than the other two teams from India.Even if CSK failed,I would like an Indian team Lifting the trophy.Hope this time it brings some exciting and thrilling contests.

Definitely Indian teams have bright chances in AIRTEL CHAMPIONS LEAGUE T20.Each team has a weakness and also an advantage. All the three teams would perform better and give their best due to big captains.Dhoni,Sachin and Kumble are big captains. For all round performances Bangalore have done a great job. They have some excellent all rounders and big hitting batsmen. They have more chances than the other two teams. In their opening match they won easily with a winning note.Chennai would win if they perform as a team. They have been poor in bowling and fielding. They have also won their first match with a winning note.Their fielding was not good but still managed to beat the opposition.Mumbai under Sachin were the favorites. They lost their first match by nine runs.Only Sachin and Duminy stood and gave some good innings, others failed to give their best.Pollard was seen dangerous but he was easily bowled out by the opposition. It was too close to a victory .Hope they recover and strike in their next match.

ya the indian teams can exhibit a good competition in ACL.
i think banglore is the most unnoticed team from the IPL, and i hope that they will perform well specially the bounce in the pitches may be well utilised by kumble.
and CSK with dhonis captaincy and some good players like morkel and raina, have a good chance.
mumbai depends on Sachin a lot. Sachin Tendulkar is the key for mumbai's victory.

right now except for india other teams are not performing very well in the T20 format of the game. Pakistan had the potential but i dno't think right now they have the mindset to play well after all those aligations and drama regrading the match fixing thing

IT is not IPL to fix matches.. I do not think Indian teams will dominate this tournament nor they will play as underdogs, it will be a decent outing for Indian teams in my view..Other teams play with no foreigners in their teams where as IPL teams will play with foreign players.. SO, it will be herculean tasks for Indian teams to win the Airtel Champions League.. I will hope for the best for IPL teams..

Hi venkit just like you I also want an Indian team to lift the trophy but the chances are slender.Let me enumerate why it is difficult for the Indian sides to win..1)Other teams watched them play and are up with definite plans against them whereas Indian teams lack such insights and there are players in other teams who can surprise the Indian sides...2)The unpredictable nature of the game makes it very difficult to predict who will win..3)The shorter versions leaves the players very little scope to rectify mistakes and whoever plays well on that given day will win the match.Still I hope that MI will lift the trophy and sachin will add another feather in his cap.

I have strong reasons to believe that its unlikely that Indian teams that is IPL teams will be dominating the tournament .I believe so because IPL teams have big stars but cricket is a team game , players of others teams participating in the tournament have played lot of matches together as a team , not the case with IPL.If you remember a failed experiment by ICC of playing a test match of 6 days and some ODIs against the top team Australia vs Rest of the world having many star players. This all star team was beaten by Aussies easily in spite of them having some great crickets and a very strong team, this is because Aussies were playing as a team ,all star team did not. This is the reason why IPL teams struggled a lot in previous edition of CLT20 and it will continue, players would give 100 percent for their nation and for the home team they played cricket throughout their sporting career, but not for a all star team playing for money and just entertainment. If Ranji teams were sent from India who play whole season together things could have been different. However it can happen that Sachin , Kumble and Dhoni will be able to motivate the players to play as a team and perform well , it would be a great job if they will be able to do it.Last but not the least its winter in SA at present and pitches will be seaming with moisture on it , so fast and bouncy wickets are likely and Indians and SL may struggle on it,only time will tell.
