Ouch! But I guess that holds true to some women to get the sympathy of the person they're calling for attention. So I guess you're right in saying that it's a very effective tool in getting what they want because as you said that's what some women's intention. Guys or Men hate to see a woman crying that sometimes they give in :D. Medically you're correct! Tears do help our eyes by washing the impurities that was cause by certain pollutants.

I, too, believe that women shed tears to express how they are feeling - usually sadness but sometimes happiness too :) it is just right that women are given affection and attention when they are feeling that way. however, when they cry just to get what they want or having hidden motives, it should not be tolerated. this is often referred to as SUPPLICATION, a defense mechanism that presents self as weak or in need to get attention of others. When this is the case, no matter how heartbreaking it is to ignore women, one must be strong enough to do so. if you are really concern you must help her not by making her too dependent on you but rather strong emotionally and an independent woman. :)

One of the most beautiful aspects from woman are in fact her tears. It can melt stubborn heart, bring peace, recover health, but if used wrongly can also bring negative values. I think it is natural for a woman to shed tears when she is sad or upset. Naturally woman is a soft being that we have to protect and take care of, and to have tears as her softness symbol will make us understand what we must do. But, if she uses her tears for her personal negative intention (e.g. trickery, or to do her illegal bidding), that's the most nasty thing I will hate the most!
