Have you had a first experience which you will never ever try again?

I just had my first haircut in a foreign land while having my vacation here in Singapore. It was really a nice experience though had some issues regarding language (because the lady who cut my hair doesn't understand English nor able to speak the language... We just used non verbal cues by demonstrating things which she would do and I would like her to do... quite confusing right?!) But that's nothing compared to what I have learned about this salon... It was actually the salon where one of the hairstylist accidentally cut a client's ear. How's that for my first haircut in a place which I really don't have any idea... no known news such as what Ive heard from my friends! GOOD THING... I came out unharmed, unscathed and was satisfied with my new look... but still will not go back that is for sure. I WON'T RISK MY EAR/S AGAIN! Lesson learned: Always ask the locals first where is the best place to shop, to eat and even to get a haircut rather than going to places that might endanger yourself, your health or your body parts.
Now its your turn to tell a story... I am excited to hear yours or should I say read yours. See you around here... Thank you in advance just by readin' this and hopefully respondin' here as well.

lol =D so will that one time experience give u an ugly impression about singapore?? haha =D Especially if the haircut is not nice and people start to critise over it?? hehe ^_^ Just kidding!
It's quite all right for a guy to have bad hair cut, because we can always shave bald anytime. haha =D That's what happened to me while i'm in taiwan. I got a bad haircut with the hairstylist not cutting what i wanted. In the end, i went to the other salon to shave my head.. lol =D

oh, yeah i remember our good barber which i've been getting used to have my haircut too was much in cutting my hear. i grudgingly paid for it but i never wanted him to cut my hair again, not only that he's old but slow too. and it happened to be the owner of the barber shop.probably when i am in shape i wouldn't mind going for a salon.

Hello jhordie,
if i had experience that i will never repeat it again, am sure i won't even tell you.not only that it's humiliating but it's something people can laugh at.and i don't like being laughed at in public.
