Can you live without your cellphone? Well I be hypocrite to say YES when my phone was important to me just like combing my hair, brushing my teeth, etc. It was basic necessity for my day to day living. How about you can you live without it?

I could say yes and no. Why? Sometimes it's just a state of mind that frustrates our desire or demands or rather like a commodity in our life that we use. It depends.

No, there is no way to live without cellphones anymore. If we are in 1900 could be, but now? No, no, no, no. If you want to call emergency, what you will do if there is no cellphones around you? If there is no cellphones IN THE WORLD? You will write them for sure? Yes, and they will come after 3-4 days, when you already make company to angels in the sky. Or they can response you with the same letter: "We don't have enought emergency cars. We sorry about that. ;d If you have very important meeting or something else and you wanna hear someone for goodluck... What's happening then? Send me letter, i'm here. If there is no cellphones just for 1 hours, will be global catastrophe! There would be thousands of victims all over the world. :) My advice: Take your cellphones with you everywhere. You can save a human life or even save your life! In 2010, there is no way for living without cellphones... Not anymore. ;)

i used to think i couldnt do without my phone as i used it for virtually everything from taking lectures in class to playing games. I used it for listening to radio and doing my browsing. But when it got missing, instead of feeling bad, i felt relieved. Therefore yes i can do without my phone

I'm sure we all could live without cellphones. I remember 20 years ago when we didn't have the cellphone. Weren't we happy without it? Didn't the world prospere because there weren't any cellphones? No. Life was good without them as it is now with them. I remember I was a teenager and we used to send love notes through our friends or colleagues, we called each other from home (not from the bus or supermarket), we visited each other more often . It wasn't bad at all.

No I cannot. I can't ever imagine living so disconnected with my friends, family members and loved ones. Also now days cell phones are more useful than just calling and messaging. Its now a new mode of entertainment also. I have a Nokia 5800 Music express cell phone.

Sadly I don't think I could live very easily without my cell phone. Right now my husband and I both use our cell phones are our only phone. We don't have a land line in our home since everyone just calls our cell phones. If we were to get rid of our cell phones and purchase a land line to have at home I could probably manage to live without the cell phone. It would certainly be difficult to get use to, but probably could be done.

They say that only when something is lost can anyone realize the value of such a thing. My cell phone was damaged s badly. I had always taken it for granted before and i have been irresponsible with it and now it's damaged to such an extent that i can't repair it anymore. I wish there was some way i could go back in time to get my cell back. Cheers!

I can't live without my cell phone, that's 100% sure. I live away of my parents, also far away from my friends, i need to hear them often. I miss them really much. Also i need it for work, not only for fun. One year ago i worked as manager of shop for cell phones and mobile operator. And i understood how important is it, to have this momentary connecting with people, who are important for you. Now my cell phones stays only away of me. Only few people call me and not so often, but i feel calm, because i know, that if someone wants to call me - he can do it, also if i want to call someone, i can do it. It's a part of our freedom to live far away of each other and to keep in touch our friends and family. I like that, because i have the right to use it and it's something i won't say "bye bye" to.

My day will be incomplete if I cannot use my cellphone. Using cellphones has become a habit I guess. Aside from making calls or text (be it for personal or work related use) I also use my phone for organizing, making notes, shopping list and even play games...hehehe. Cellphones are also handy for me especially when I'm away from home and away from my loved ones. That's why I always make it a point to bring it with me wherever I go. There are times I cannot immediately reply or answer but still my day will not end without checking it out. Oh by the way, my day usually starts with an alarm from my phone...that's why I agree with you. Cellphones has become a necessity.

Oh my! I cannot live without my cellphone. It already became a part and parcel of my life. Gone are the days that I have to search for coins and hunt payphones just to make a call. Cellphone is now vital to me in terms of getting in touch with loved ones and with inquiries regarding earning online.

I think I could live without my cellphone actually...right now it is important to me for sending and receiving text messages but I am sure I would find a way round it if I didn't have the phone. There are times that I actually find it intrusive and don't want to be contactable all the time, we managed without them before they existed so I am sure we would do so again if we had to :o)
