Boppana-Qureshi: A great story!!

The fact that Boppana and Qureshi lost in the finals to the Bryans is dwarfed by the fact that an Indian and a Pakistani could forge a team that could reach the finals of a Grand Slam title. In the finals, I thought Boppana was explosive and Qureshi was a bit off color, probably bit out of steam after playing the mixed double finals yesterday!! What are your thoughts on this pairing? The team of Boppana and Qureshi gave the Bryan brothers their toughest test of the entire tournament. It was the first match of the US Open that the Bryans had to go to a tie break. I think that Boppana and Qureshi complimented each other very well, one with the power and the other with the soft hands at the net, very entertaining doubles match. Now on to the Women's semis. Bob

Yep. I think their inexperience though let them down on the crucial points. Especially in the first set tie-break when twice they had a mini-break up on their opponents. Cheers! Ram
