Yes I had this feeling, in fact this is worst then in reality, because you don't know if it is real or not. I only realize that thing didn't happen the next day when I wake up in my bed. It's funny that I cannot remember the majority of my dreams, but if something like this happens, when I actually feel the pain of pinching, punching then I will always remember it the next day. I don't know why this happens, but it does and I think it is hard to control our dreams. I know that I am unable to control my dreams, I never choose what to dream about.

Yes, I used to feel this when i was a child. It was Ghost Festival in China that day, and i just watched a horrible movie with my friends. When i went to sleep that day, i met the ghost in my dream, as the old Chinese saying goes,"Dreams at night reflect daytime thoughts." She grasped my foot and i felt painful, then i woke up with fear. I was so scared that i got sweat running all over my body, and my parents had to comforte me to calm down until i got to sleep again. The next day they said it to me and told me not to watch dracula movie any more. Haha, don't worry, it's just normal.

That whole "pinch me so I can tell whether or not I'm dreaming" never made much sense to me. When I pinch myself or ask someone else to pinch me in a dream... it still hurts the same as in real life.
I've felt pain in dreams before... not as often as other sensations like heat, cold, or wind... but often enough. Someone kicked me in the back once in a dream and it shocked me into waking up. My back still hurt. Ow.

It is. Especially when you know it's something that's not supposed to be in pain. If I had a back ache before... that wouldn't have been as bad.
