What's the best souvenir you can have when you travel?

I love decorative boxes. Then in each box I try to put in something from the trip. They are small so it can't be anything overly big. And I always include the stub from my flight or a stub from a ticket to someplace like the Uffizi. Since I am a photographer it goes without saying that I get pictures of everything. If I can find a photoalbum that goes with my trip then I definitely also pick that up.

Hello niceurdaneta! I travel a lot and I always make sure that every travel is memorable. Of course, number one on my list would be lots and lots of photos. Then, key chains would be on my list. Sometimes, I also buy good shirts for me and my love ones.

The best souvenir I can get when I go off traveling is a lovely looking costume doll. I like it even more when I manage to get a special doll or an unusual doll. Sometimes I manage to get a few different dolls. It is superb to get a doll that has been made by hand. In South Africa last year I got a family of dolls. There is a mother and a few children made out of colorful beads. In the Seychelles I got two dolls. When I was in Romania I bought a wooden doll. I have a collection of dolls from around the world. Also when I go traveling I like to buy postcards to add to my collection. I have three different books of postcards that I have collected from different destinations. I like to bring back some foreign coins and some bank notes. In the Cook Islands I got a three dollar note and a triangular coin. I take lots of photos when I go on my trips overseas. This summer I traveled to the beautiful city of Vancouver.

My best "souvenir" is always pictures. I love to take tons of pictures to show people when I come back from my trip. I sometimes also buy post cards to show beautiful things that maybe I wasn't able to go see or get a good picture of. I often purchase Tshirts when I'm on vacation, too. It's something I can definitely use/wear and will be a memory of my trip time and time again!

I use to collect nick nacks but no longer anymore, what I find more memorable are the pictures I take and can view them every now and then which reminds of what a great time I had at particular places. So my best souvenirs from anywhere I have traveled I have to say are my memories as they won't get tarnished or collect dust. This discussion made me realize that it has been so long since I have traveled, I hope some day soon I am able to do so again.

I always get fridge magnets. And sometimes I get books with local architechture and stuff like that too!
