I am a huge James Patterson fan, only problem is I don't want to keep reading a book from him all the time. I need a little change from the same material all the time. I'm also a fan of vampire series such as J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Anyways! So I have to ask, what are you all reading now and what are they like? I'm just in need of some new material, I'm tired of the same old thing! Anything will help :)

Oh my goodness my husband and I have been picking up many a book lately. We've been scouring our good will and looking at salvation army too. We've found a lot of good books there. We even went to this shop that has books for half off, not really a good deal though. Hmm well I am a fan of James Patterson as well.
I am trying to think of things to suggest to you, maybe V.C. Andrews, have you ever heard of the movie Flowers in The Attic? There is a whole book series on it, I've been collecting from the series myself. Do you like Laura Ingels Wilder? Or what about Danielle Steel? Nora Roberts? J.D. Robb? Here I am naming authors instead of books.
I am reading a book called "A slice of Murder" I forget who it's by and am too lazy to go get the book so I can tell you. It's good so far though, about a woman who is framed for a murder, and her and her sister, along with a "supposed" sister of the deceased (though I am not sure whether to believe it's the true sister) try to figure out who killed the man.
I think that further in the book some more things will happen to make it seem it was the pizza lady, but it really wasn't. It's set in a town called Timber Ridge, NC. Not sure if it's a real town, but supposedly in the mountains. I hate that I don't know as I've been to the mountains a lot...

I actually read a V.C. Andrews book a few years ago, I'm not sure which one it was but I liked it a lot! I'll definitely check out the other authors you mentioned and as for the book you're reading, that sounds like a really interesting book, I'll have to find it! Thank you for the recommendations :)

i would reccomend Anne Rice if you're into vampires. i've read twilight but i grew out of it if that makes any sense. i finished interview with a vampire and am now reading the vampire lestat and i highly reccomend the entire series, especially memnoch the devil, because it reminds me of paradise lost by john milton. memnoch the devil is an excellent story about lestat meeting Memnoch, a fallen angel, who tells lestat how he became the devil and takes him on a tour of heaven and hell and creation. I also love reading stephen king and would reccomend salem's lot, dreamcatcher and the stand. the city of bones series by cassandra clare is also a great series to read if you would prefer a change.

People keep telling me to check out Anne Rice so I'm definitely adding that to my list! Stephen King is always a good choice, I just never have time to read his books all the way through because of how long and small printed they are! I believe I have City of Bones on my bookcase hah I just need to get the other two books from the series

I have read all of the Evanovich books. I love here Stephanie Plum Numbers series. I have not had time to read lately, did pick up a book by Heather Graham the other day at the library. It looked interesting. It seems to be a mystery/suspense, with maybe a hint of romance.
